My favorite Last Wizard character has to be the Angel Lich. Or the ArchDruid, who was the first to achieve ultimate peace.

Wow really?! Thats so awesome, I always thought the Wizard from LoaW was potentially the most powerful wizard in the land of Daria and pondered what difference they could have made during the fall of Daria or how they would have reacted to demon stones.
Ah the fabled sequel to one of the best standalone games made here.

I have to be careful with it, since I don’t want to assume any choices. Also, there is no way for me to know what choices you made in LoaW, which means that I need to ask in Lost Heir.
That said, yes, there will be some customization. Gender, race, geneology, and morality will need to be asked. Some of the finer details won’t be mentioned, allowing your own head-canon to fill in the details.
Yes, having the greatest wizard in Daria’s history showing up will have some very interesting possibilities. 
I’ve got a lot of it done already:
- All known bugs have been fixed for all 3 games. Even those who don’t get the DLC will enjoy this. Some of the bugs were more severe than I thought. You can check the Bug threads (go to the first post in this thread for links) if you’re curious about them.
- A couple of free scenes have been wrote for LH1. These scenes lead into the optional DLC, but they give some new scenes for everyone, even if you don’t purchase the IAP.
- The main intro/story scenes, appearances, and 9 perks have been written into LH1 and LH2. Originally this DLC was for perks/advantages, but I couldn’t resist including some cool plot too.
My time is going into getting Last Wizard released, but after that, I will return to finishing the Legacy. I still want to include:
- Some alternate scenes based on morality and race.
- Some major perk scenes through LH3
- A major conclusion to the plot added with the legacy, which will resolve in LH3.

Some things I hope are included in the DLC:

if the Wizard is a Lich, they can still have Good Morality developed after the change. Angel Lich played by David Boreanz.

The Wizard can craft for us the Sword of Kings/Queens or point us in its direction.

The Wizard can grant us new powers and do the same to our companions- potentially.

Include some joke “pick this, then restart because you’re screwed now, idiot!” Options. Those were funny when included in all three parts before. You know what I’m talking about. Hidden benefits are fine too.

I got lucky and somehow played 30 playthroughs in a coma like state withought noticing those were a thing and when I started actually reading again I died from those enough times I actually quit the game for 3 months

So the game won’t explicitly state how my Wizard is an Elven Demonic Lich Elemental Summoner with 100 Fighting, a dragon mount, and a snow owl familiar?

In the two best endings of LoaW its possible for the Wizard to either unite the lands around Daria through conquest or bring about a golden age of peace and prosperity, neither of which seems apparent in TLH, indicating perhaps that such an era either came to an end or hasn’t occurred depending on whether TLH is a sequel or a prequel (I think its a sequel).
It would be interesting to see how the Wizard reacts to a changed Daria from how they initially shaped it or finding out how they end up in the TLH era and where they were all this time.
On another level I picture it kind of as the Daria of old (LoaW) meeting the Daria of new (TLH) and wonder how they’ll regard each other. Like what would the MC’s companions think of the Wizard? Is he a figure of history or legend? Would they each have different views and perceptions of the Wizard?
And… how would Zusak react if he learnt that Daria’s most powerful Wizard of all time had somehow returned and was aiding the Heir? Then again considering the power he reached in TLH3 maybe the strength gap isn’t that vast. The most powerful opponent the Wizard faced was probably Parnaxus the dragon and Zusak at his most powerful could have most likely defeated the creature too.

No. It would detract too much. I’ll hit the big points, but your imagination will have to fill the missing pieces.
Yup! As much as any release does, so it could be hours apart, but yes, the update will release on all platforms at once.

Of my many MANY games in my WIP folder, I have a Life of a Wizard 2 partially started. That’s a step past my even larger Ideas folder. So yes, I’ve thought of it. It would be a different character, but same sort of idea. I started that WIP a few years ago, so I don’t really remember how far it got.
So many ideas, so little time! To be honest, it’s lower on my list of games that I’d like to finish.
I love wizards and magic. I think that there’s a lot to be written there. Last Wizard is still coming, and it’s obviously a wizard game too.
On a side note, I got a good day’s worth of work into the Legacy Advantage. A few more days like today and I’ll make some real progress. I was surprised to see how much I’d already gotten done on it, since I hadn’t really done anything with it since April.
Those bug fixes alone are impressive. It’ll seem like there’s a lot of new content, just seeing what SHOULD have happened. The free content for the advantage is written and the perks themselves are all done. I’d say it’s about 2/3 done. I just need to write a few more scenes in the middle and then the big conclusion.
Last Wizard is entirely complete on my end, so hopefully it gets released soon. After it releases, I hope to release the Legacy Advantage shortly after.
After that? Well, I’ll have to pick a project. I’ve got it narrowed down to about four, in my mind, but I really won’t know which one I’ll do until I start into it again.
