I am currently working on improving Tokyo Wizard again…I just added the possibility of getting a small or big lizard (so, they can turn into rather big creatures if you make them giant later!)

Would that still require the Lich path in TW or are you planning on adding a new option in the Neko teacher route to evolve our pet without them having to be an undead? And if we do evolve our pet in the Lich route, I’m guessing you’re planning on making sure they import to LAAL (Life As A Lich) properly?

I just sent CoG the updated files for Tokyo Wizard. There is quite a lot of new stuff, including new options, lots of grammar fixes (thanks @AletheiaKnights!), new options for familiar, and quite a bit to later integrate with Life as a Lich when it comes out on June 6th. There are also now cheat codes, as per the video belo
v1.1.2. February 2024 (165,000 words)
-Added cheat codes to the game.
-Added small and big lizard as familiar options.
-Extra dialogue options in many places.
-Grammar improvements throughout the game.
-Bugfixes.

Bought this game a long time ago. Is the update good to go now or will it take weeks/months for them to implement it?

How do you get the option for a big lizard familiar? I tested it out by buying the biggest apartment with a military background and sports gym job and was only able to pick a small lizard familiar option. Unless the big lizard option is for the Lich path when you use “Enhance Zombie Familiar” spell?

No, its an option, but you need to have 50,000 yen… that and the brown ferret are 50,000 yen… I have made all the options now *selectable_if, and added some notes indicating that it also depends on the size of the house.

Yes, both the big lizard and brown ferret require 50,000 yen. They are the two most expensive pets available…
Hey, it’s just a suggestion, but as someone who delves into necromancy, why our dear first teacher, does not say for us to keep the body of our familiars for future use?

@adrao I decided to play this again and couldn’t help but notice that our Japanese culture and language stat has been set to 100 by default…

@Pedro_Aires your first teacher doesnt really dwelve into necromancy… he is a warlock… that is why all the spells he teachers are of a certain flavour… necromancy is for later. However, there is an option to take the body of your familiar with you, right? You can even resurrect him/her

Not sure why this bug happened, but I have just sent a fix to CoG, delayed so that they receive Monday, so hopefully the game will be updated in the next week or so…

Someone knows how to uploud their save? I did become a necromancer and all but no uploud save prompt for the newer game that asks for an import.

In Raiders of I speak mountains why can’t I make a character with a back story? Do I need to unlock it or did I miss some sort of update?

I too for some reason did not get a prompt to make a save. Although the update (the newly added features seems to work there is even a notification telling that you can save but no real prompt to save for some reason)
Did you return to the mansion after becoming a necromancer? Mine came in the ending screens after choosing the necromancer mansion ending
