bl00dragon’s work is eternal and unrelenting as is the fury, zeal and focus of the MC.
I am but I work a full time job and I’m in the middle of a few things that make me spend my evenings on paperwork. I also recovered from a broken foot not so long ago, so i’m trying to get my rhythm back.
It’s still coming, but it will take time.
Asterius: “WHY WON’T YOU DIE?!”
MC: “Wight King’s curse son.”
That is A ok my man, was just hoping this didn’t become one of the many lost WIP’s that get abandoned glad to see your still working on it! Been through a broken foot myself those suck lol.
Nanomachine son
You forgot to make nanomachines plural.
We await the darkness to rise. Also a quick old question, can we go full Scarlet king and declare war on existence?
Lol until the paladin arrives and we hear boss music
Bah! He is but a weak, mortal fool. Even at our weakest, it was a tough fight for him. At our strongest, he shall seem little more than a pathetic insect on the table of a GOD.
It is said that a Wight King makes whole empires and entire continents tremble before their monstrous power, so yeah a fully powered WK can probably fight dozens or even hundreds of opponents as strong or even stronger than Asterius.
I really love these ideas, reminds me a lot of the professions and specializations from the lost heir trilogy which I feel did this sort of thing very well. Also when it comes to different forms of magic it’s very rare for me to be interested in more than one or two, let alone ALL of them. Looking at you dragon
Yea I want you to keep that same energy next time asterius pulls up to the function
Do not consider your opponent to be a suckling infant, even when you clearly outmatch them. Pace yourself, for a steady head provides a clear vision. Asterius shall be dealt with, the King Eternal shall bear down on him with the fury of a thousand mad gods and the determination and zeal of a fanatical zealot.
Among the different endings for the saga, some of them will be on the more eldritch side of things, is what I’ll say.
The music stops, and he stands there… menacingly.
He DID kick your ass at the end of the fight.
Thank you, it was difficult to choose “domains” that fit well and would be fun to play with, but I think I did fairly well picking them.
“Try me bitch.” Asterius Lucius Iudex, second age of darkness
But we totally got owned at the end when that burst of power we got ran out
Heyho Mistah Dragon, how’s it going?
I was wondering if you planned on working on Shattered anymore?
I gave it another read after a long while and that buildup to the fight with the bandits and the fight itself was glorious. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Made me nostalgic.
I’ve been in the middle of buying a home, which uh… yeah, I should have expected the bureaucratic maelstrom but somehow it still surprised me.
Yeah for sure. Maybe not soon but eventually it will be back on the menu, even if I’m not actively writing for it right now, I’m still building the plots and characters in my head. Chapter 2 is actually pretty much fully planned and half written, and then I’ve got a good idea of where the next two chapters are going.
You’ll get back to the edgiest, most wanted warlock in the universe eventually. Suffering awaits.
Ah, beuracracy, my condolences. Ye shall acquire a lair eventually, do not fret.
If my brain wasn’t melting, I’d be enjoying my weekend, but the content of my skull threatening to spill through my nose is probably appropriate?
I felt like writing for Shattered, so that’s what I did. Chapter 2 is nearly finished, which I guess might mean a double release? We’ll see, I’m in the middle of moving out and my brain is soup. Anyway, there’s mostly fluff left to write for the Wight King chapter 6.
I’m going to sleep, wake me if I’m turning into a mindflayer.
Dear writer I like my brain back because you just stole it from me and I enjoyed the story in the process I’d like a return policy
No returns, only cranial expansion. Once I have every neuron in the galaxy, there will be peace.
