Nothing is scarier than a petite female orc with warhammer.
I like to say something in my play through the Templars attacked me first behalf of that does not make me the villain
I do believe that the fact that people treating the MC like they are Darth VoldeSauron just because they are the Wight King is a major point of the game planned.
Now whether the game plans on the MC being forced to live down to that reputation to survive, or if the game will allow the Wight King, The Dark Lord of All Naughtyness to have such vile evil plans as granting people rights and improving quality of life, that remains to be seen.
Well loyal subjects are more easy to control then ones who fear and hate you.
But on my behalf I only became the dark lord because they attacked first and I need survive technically we are the heroes of the story and they’re the villains😇 I have not burned destroyed Villages or cities yet
Well, every villain is the hero of their own story. Plus, I like being a dark lord ![]()
You can still be the dark lord and be the hero so don’t worry we can do both🥰
So, an anti-hero of some sorts? Dark and edgy? I like it
I think my WK would probably be evil on a case to case basis like he wouldn’t destroy a human village if they surrendered immediately but if said village resisted he would have no problem slaughtering everyone in it and turning their corpses into zombies.
Let us not go down this path … @bacon_bits and @CultOfCthulhu
The fun thing with morality is that we all have our own and it’s likely you’ll never meet a like-minded individual. They might have shot first, but your very existence is enough for them to see you as a villain. And you even had the gall to fight back.
You’ll always be someone’s villain. It’s also very convenient for them to sum it up as “bad undead is bad”.
That fear of the Wight King is both instinctual and supernatural. WK’s presence is unnerving even when they’re not showing signs of hostility. It’s part of the Wight King’s nature.
You won’t always have a choice, you can’t be everywhere, and you can’t prevent all evils. But I won’t force you to treat people badly, though you’re not here to give people homes and improve healthcare and civil rights.
Actually both are pretty limited. Goodwill and fear run out quickly. Loyalty only lasts until you fail them, fear only lasts until you show weakness.
Either way, your action will still be seen as villainous, because even though you might spare them, you are still taking over lands, people and their livelihoods. If they surrender, it’s because there was a threat in the first place. Conquest with good intentions is still conquest.
Why is it spelt Orks?
Yeahhh, it should be spelt Orkz. Cuz Orks are lamer Orkz
Jokes aside, I meant why is it spelt Orks instead of Orcs.
That’s how it’s spelt in Warhammer and people decided that is how it shall be spelled in this thread
There’s no big reason behind it. It’s just personal preference. Even in-universe, both spelling are acceptable. And here as well, either is fine.
EDIT: If you want more info on the orks, I’ve marked a post in which I talk about them. In case you didn’t know.
am curious
Hmmmmm…
Dire Orks?..Praise Cthulhu! tis time for the great reckoning.
but serously are their Dire orks?
Are the orks classic green color, red or blue like Oni, or more like bigger humans with tusks and massive hair.
if there are dire orks do they have a grouping of them and a grouping of dwarves in a combat alliance
“the Great Dwarven pike and Warhammer wielders majestically ride into battle on the shoulders of Dire Orks laying waste to the front line of any battlefield it is truely a sight to behold” -wight king conversing with Dwarven kingdom representative about their surrender conditions.
You know what a dire Ork is right? They’re like Orks but dire.
All will be born with equal opportunity under the Wight King… No I can’t promise that, special abilities would skew my perception pretty quickly. I can promise a not hungry or homeless standard of living though, of course they have to follow a 10 year plan first and seize land from the… Ok it’ll just be a dictatorship but everyone will have jobs at least!
Both are one and the same. How hard are we to put down permanently anyway? Like do I have to worry about people offing me with a knife or something? Or do we have some specifically prepared ritual where you band a party together and fight 8 boss before confronting us?
Is there something that could mess with the Wight King success process?
Honestly when our existence is threatening I can’t blame them for unwarranted hostilities, because it is in fact entirely warranted.
Do we have to worry about us mutating?
Glad you liked it.
I’m just like my user name?
In this universe, you can’t just summon undead out of nowhere, you need a corpse. If that’s what you were asking.
Dire orks, no. But they can mutate into a few different creatures. The most notable is the ogre.
Orks can have almost any skin colour, usually in faded tones. Red, blue, black, grey, sandy, brown, orks are some of the creatures which show the most variations in their colors and color patterns. It even changes as they grow older.
That sounds ridiculous but also fabulous. But the dwarves really don’t need that to be dangerous, if anything they’re scarier when they’ve got both feet on the ground. You won’t move a dwarf, even cavalry charges would flatten themselves against a dwarven shield wall.
Good guy Wight King gives jobs to the people.
They can try to stab you with a knife, and once they see it didn’t even make you flinch they’ll regret their life choices. Even if they landed a killing blow, you’ll just get up again. Putting the Wight King down for good would take tremendous effort, a lot of time, and will most likely end in a battle of attrition your enemies can’t win. As long as you can regenerate.
I’m not sure what you mean. But yeah, it’s not going to be easy.
Undead don’t usually mutate naturally.
Just read the story and I loved it
