If we’re thinking of the same moment, then I honestly think the fact they let them and the MC have that moment and not stopping them is intent. For someone who constantly pushes moments like that away and is so used to pushing away anything remotely meaningful, it feels intentional at that point by them. If I’m remembering correctly, there were no sex jokes, or push back in that moment. I haven’t read the demo in a long time, and I’m not going to again before the book comes out, but I remember thinking it was a more intimate moment than up on the roof. But like you said, we shall just have to wait and see!

I completely understand where both sides come from. For most of my life my dad was absent but he was still there when i needed him most unless he was overseas for the military. The reason i personally dont like Rebecca is because she doesnt seem to care about personal relationships, and the fact that she still isnt telling us everything from the looks of things. Her only reaction to us bringing up a problem that we have with her is for her to avoid and dodge, for instance the flirting with the mayor, or try to distract us with a different conversation. I can understand not always being there but she was purposefully distant from the mc which makes all the difference.

Yeah, yeah. I just couldn’t handle doing A’s route as my main one. Waiting five or six games to get to that point is an exercise in frustration. Of course, I gotta wait the same amount of time for M to get to the point above, too, but at least there’s sex to be had…
I do have to say, though, if M said those words in Russian to Dezh, he probably wouldn’t get two steps from her before she jumped on him.

Well, there’s little other choice than to wait, so…
I do play the A route. Even got a damned good MC for him, finally. She’s fun, and is more optimistic than Dezh (I think Eeyore is more optimistic than Dezh, sometimes, so I guess that isn’t saying much). She just doesn’t think Adam will ever stop resisting and trying to push her away, so she’s pretty much given up on anything with him other than him running away.
Thankfully, her only reaction at this point is sighing and rolling her eyes!

All of my MCs are up for becoming a vampire. I think Jax (F) may be afraid, though. She tends not to like anything all that dangerous, even if most of the time she’s too stupid to realize what she’s about to do is dangerous. The rest of them aren’t deterred by danger, lol.

My A-mancer is just incredibly dramatic and thinks falling in love with A is her eternal punishment for rejecting too many past suitors. Of course all those guys deserved it, she’s just weird.

My A-mancer has never really fallen for anyone before (Bobby was never going to work, she knew that, and that’s the sum of her dating experience), so she just figures she has trash taste, starting to fall for someone who is clearly attracted to her but doesn’t want to be and hates humans with an undying passion. So she’s like, “whatever” and keeps going on with her life and letting out a sigh whenever Adam starts his hot/cold crap because she’s done with thinking he’ll actually ever make a move. She knows (her perspective) that it’ll never happen with him and is fine with it. She’s not one to wallow.
Now Dezh… I swear, the attitude that falling in love with Mason is some sort of eternal punishment totally fits her way of thinking. Not because she rejected so many people, but because she has done crap in her past that she figures she has to pay for.
I really need to find a way to get her thinking this way, that falling in love with Mason–someone who, from her POV, has no interest in her past wanting to screw her when he’s bored or no one better is around and will be done with her as soon as someone better walks by–is her punishment for all that crap. She may get resigned to it, instead of all those feelings for him building up until she bursts (which is the path she’s on right now).
