OH MY GOD GUYS. What if, for April Fools, F and Tina basically just trolled the MC and their love interest all day? Probably would be most hilarious if it were A or M. IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES. And they even get Verda in on it, even though he’s slightly apologetic but still laughing.

I remember Sera saying before that a lot of people in N’s past have said that… Something about that, plus the song “dressed in black” by Sia being stated as very much N has made me understand there’s some deep pain feelings there.

Re-reading Book 1 on whim, I suddenly remembered a question I had about facing the thralls outside the bar. Anyone know the difference between going for the eyes, kicking between the legs, or going for the nose? They all seem to accomplish MC’s release. I haven’t noticed status effects…
I think it’s just a choose you want sort of thing. I usually just always go for the nose cause that’s probably what I’d do in real life. Fast and effective.

This is actually what all of my English and Creative Writing teachers have told me. “Conflict is what makes a story interesting.” Why? Because it’s what makes even the craziest fiction more realistic.

Summary
Mc stagger and her body hit the ground with a thumb sound . Unit bravo race to reach her , but M was the first to the shock of everyone . She lift the poor MC from the ground , half her body held tightly against the muscular body of M .
Mc opened her poor eyes with difficulty . Her vision was blurred , but her heart leaped when it was M sexy face that was the 1st thing she saw . Her heart thumped harder in her chest…that was it she though . My romantic moment! Here I’m hurting , bleeding ! Dirty and filthy! and my hair probably look like a cat sucked on it for day! BUt none of that matter…cose M is holding me as I breath…Probably my last breath! Quick put on your I’m in Agony but still look cute face!
Mc: M…is that you ?
M: yeah , you kinda heavy y’know…
Mc: Oh M…I’m hurtinnnnnnnng…
M: So are you going to die ? cose I think I can hear the ambulance on their way , so y’know…don’t die .
Mc: I don’t know if I can hold on much…loooooooonger…M…unless…

My English professors were the same way.I had the elements of fiction drilled into my head. Your beginning, rising action, climax, falling action and end. They would talk about how if you had your conflict resolve itself too early in the book then that wasn’t the true conflict the MC had to go through. They also said that if you did that you would bore your readers especially if you didn’t resolve it well.
I applaud you in your creativity.

Yes! Exactly - that’s why my MCs typically have the single “big problem” (the major conflict), and of course, regular day-to-day things (arguing with family, issues at work, etc). That way, the major problem will almost seem “forgotten” at certain moments, but it’s still always in the back of the MC’s mind and it essentially shapes their behavior and how they interact with others. Because when my MCs have a big problem…they have a biiiig problem. I’m a mean author. In fact, some of my MCs might hate me. lol

Sera said that it may take M a while to actually realize they have feelings for the MC, but once that happens, they won’t ignore them. M doesn’t ignore their feelings like another vampire we know… cough A cough

I’m sure most of my characters hate me, but I also hate having to kill off a character. I want to cry just thinking about it but I know it has to happen so then I procrastinate and write around it as long as possible

I’m sorry if anyone asked this before, but I’ve been thinking about this the past days (probably because I’m really excited for book two and I’ve been replaying the demo non-stop) so… anyone thinks we’re going to kiss any of the UB on book two? A is a no-no of course lol, I don’t know about F though.
I think M (with how straightforward they are with their intentions wink wink) and maybe N (they just seem really excited to start something with the detective) are good options.
Throw your thoughts here, and maybe how would you like the “first kiss” moment to be with your favorite UB member.
