That’s sad. Elidor is such a good sweet guy tho. I never considered that.

I think is someone way HIGHER but the nurse could have help. If I were write this It would have been Rebecca. But no way that happened with the tone thisstory has so no clue.

I wonder when Rebecca dies if we have a bad relationship with her if the team will call us out for it. “What do you care it’s business as usual for you right?”

I don’t think “call out” is the right term. In fact I don’t think the team will talk about detective’s bad relationship unless the mc brings it up, especially because its about someone who has passed. If the mc had a bad relationship with their mom its mc’s business, like you said, and that’s exactly what unit bravo believes. Even F wouldn’t pry. Sure N tried to smooth things over with Rebecca in book 1 but that was just trying to better their relationship. If Rebecca is gone, and mc just never had a close mother-child relationship then that’s that.

There is no end if we would consider conspiracy theory… because the traitor… could be … one of the agent right? Imagine the heart breaking incident if this is the case

Pretty sure that won’t happen in game, however if you’re talking theoretically, then the team may talk about Rebecca yes. Just because mc doesn’t like their mom, it doesn’t mean the team dislikes her-but just in the same way the team can respect/like Rebecca, the mc can have their own bad relationship with her. And I think regardless of Rebecca dying or not, that wont change. The team certainly wont berate or come at mc for their relationship. It’s their family in the end. I think unit bravo just has a strong connection to Rebecca and they know her intentions are good, so they just want mc and her to be happy together, but if that’s not the case oh well. That’s life, not everything works out.

Uuuu I wonder if the traitor is the new character that Sera has mentioned? Or maybe…one of the UB?
I know it’s impossible but imagine the shock it would be if the traitor is actually one of the UB member

We’re going to have to kill them… Oh wait were not THAT kind of clandestine government agency.

“it couldn’t be _______ they risked their lives with us . They’ve had our back so many times”

My MC: I’m not particularly attached to any of you So I have no strong opinions either way. However I AM a detective and I refuse to allow a miscarriage of Justice to happen in my city.

Shhhhhh !!! I actually had a deduction about this possibility previously :-):stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: but i feel bad afterwards for thinking that one of them “may” be the traitor from within , but don’t worry… i am willing to forgive them even if this is the case

Yes !!! It will be another Heart Break incident right?

EDIT: Put this under a readmore bc it got a lil out of hand

I don't think typical supernatural racial stereotypes really apply, here in TWC.

The MC has the option in the first book to demonstrate the sort of fallacy in this ‘[race] equals inherent [noun/adjective]’ mindset. When they have the opportunity to first hear about their blood mutation and ask UB questions about themselves, they can potentially bring up the uncomfortable assumption of ‘vampires and murdering go hand in hand, due to their diet.’ UB eventually helps dispel this mindset, but at the time I’m sure to those MCs this thought process just made logical sense.

Now we know that supernaturals can choose to use their abilities and special circumstances/biology for good or evil (UB vs Murphy), and MC states themself that they suppose humans are the same in that way. We do what we choose with what we are given.

We also know that much of the lore behind vampires is fictitious (if we ask UB) and can safely assume the same for most other supernatural races, to a degree. The fact that demons work for the Agency-- if you think about what that would typically imply-- is proof that these human-bred stereotypes are probably very misleading (if UB isn’t example enough). (yes, F seems to have some issue with demons, but that seems to be a personal issue… don’t think its an indication of their blanket evilness.)

If these things remain true, I see no reason why the blanket statement of ‘fae are manipulative and cruel’ should be believed. There may be traits that certain races are PREDISPOSED to, but hardly to a fault, and I don’t think the Agency would risk even keeping them around if they were at such risk of having deep-seated anti-human sentiments.

Also, there are some [cough Adam] that would argue that humans are the ones that embody those traits… and the detective, no matter what your headcanons on their past, IS GOOD. So… idk. Even if these stories hold some kernel of truth, people overcome. Plus, Sera seems quite fond of Elidor, so I’m not worried about him. Perhaps he can even eventually elucidate these stereotypes

Pssssh I only became a cop to avoid jail time. I mean yeah now I am lawful neutral. But don’t assume my alignment.

What I mean is that they work on the side of Good, whatever their personal feelings or motivations.

Yeah that’s true enough. I AM married to my job after all.

Has Sera confirmed the existence of a mole? Or are we going off of what F said about the Agency having a leak? I had imagined that Murphy has some blackmarket contacts which is where he got the DMB from.

As far as I know, no. It is just speculation based on what F said.
