Sorry but it’s a blood drive. Those “medical staff” are most likely phlebotomist. If someone’s coming down with something major, they’re one of the last medical professionals you’d want to speak to when it comes an illness. In my experience, a lot of them don’t even know how to take a manual blood pressure Though, this is just me nit-picking now, and like you said wayhaven’s logistics are a bit of a hand wave. But this is why I think it’s so important for writers to research a little on certain things. Because if the audience is just a little knowledgeable on something you’re writing about and it’s not up to par. The suspension of disbelief can be broken and ruin the whole experience.

My main run with Joy is where she told Tina the truth, kissed Bobby and he spilled the beans to Mason. Joy has a good relationship with Rebecca and they went to the auction together. But I’m not sure I’ll keep that particular choice once I can make a save for Book 4. Plenty of time, though.
Also I have Kassi for my next playthrough - she let Verda find out the truth and she’s on Douglas subplot. She won’t let Rebecca near her, their relationship is freezing, so she’ll go alone to the auction for sure.
I’m tempted to have another run where no one knows the truth just to be able to send that text @E_RedMark was talking about earlier
