Someone starts to threaten the detective, but slowly trails off because M is right there behind the detective. Looming. Angry smoke pouring out. The would-be threat is blinking rapidly, because who is that and when did they even get there?

Here’s a thought that just popped up in my head… What makes us think transitioning to a vampire would even be possible for the detective? If their blood makes them immune to the supernatural and their magical abilities, then how would they change?
I am assuming that there would be a magical/mystical element to it. We don’t rightly know how transforming works, but if the MC has natural barriers against that, wouldn’t that cancel that option out?
Oh how the mind ponders things while waiting for the next installment!

I seem to remember that there’s an ask about this. It seems the detective could turn into a vampire but their special blood effect will disappear.

the MC is only immune to pheromones and other mind-altering abilities but other abilities like strength and agility isn’t affected

I love it. Though it does make we wonder who’s side M would be on in MC and A got into a fight since M is so loyal to the rest of UB.

I may have misunderstood the reply but I really remember that their immunity will disappear since the detective will be an unstoppable force if that happens. 
I stand corrected.
Yeah, I know that, but I think transformation would be one of those nebulous things where it straddles both physical and mystical, so… I can see it being an issue.

Personally, I would like to spend the day with N watching Pixar movies! I would bet real money on them loving Wall-E. 
They’d also be really quiet at the start of Up, I’m sure of it.
