I want to spend the evening and night watching Nat!

…and possibly more…

Dinsey/Pixar would give N… ideas.

I mean, N is pretty much a Disney Prince/Princess already. Do we need to be giving Suavewell even more ideas on how to be charming?! They are already too powerful…

YES!

Yes.

Yes!

I would like to propose that if anyone could use a crash course of being charming brought to you by Disney/Pixar it is A or M!

They are both also the least likely to do it, unfortunately…

but imagine the MC watching a Disney or Pixar movie with M or A, MC falls asleep but they get super invested and keep watching, MC wakes up to them freaking out at the dramatic moment

I disagree, actually. I think N would be taken in by the emotional messages of the films.

I mean, just imagine N watching Ellie die at the start of Up, or the scene in Monsters Inc. where Sully frightens Boo, or when Eve tries desperately to fix Wall-E? They would be bawling. (Just like me.)

@mewsly Imagine F watching Finding Dory and becoming really quiet at the scene where Dory finds out her family never stopped looking for her…

Thanks for these feels, I hate them.

I certainly think that N, and F, would love the heck outta Disney movies but do we need N watching the ball room dancing scene from Beauty and the Beast, seeing how into it the MC is and thinking “… date idea!”

… Actually, yeah, we do need that.

I’m so sorry but F and N’s reaction to the climax of Lilo & Stitch!!

i just made myself tear up on the bus, omg somebody stop me

Personally I would prefer if N took a page out of Sleeping Beauty and would fight a dragon serenade me Charlotte in the woods, cough

Hey now. Sera already said that the MC wasn’t going to come between A and N’s friendship!

Who doesn’t tell you that some of the tales aren’t based on the romantic adventures of an unknown tall, handsome, suave gentleman… Imagine him watching Rapunzel and thinking, WAIT, I DID THAT.

Charlotte: You…climbed up a tower using hair as rope?
N: No, a girl with glowing hair helped me kill a hag.
[beat]
N: She was fae.
Charlotte: Ohhhhh, that makes sense…I think.

pffft imagine Nate watching Little Mermaid, like, “Hmm, this is…awfully familiar.”

Well, I mean…

It could happen

I would probably make A watch something like Fruits Basket and point at Kyo, nudge A in the ribs, and say ‘does this guy seem at all familiar to you’? Really anything with a tsundere in it would be funny.

F would bawl and then tease you for also crying.

F: You sniff dork.
MC: Wtf? You’re crying too?
F: sniff Am not.

(sorry for interrupting kk) Hello~ After days of trying to catch up with this 7k+ thread (half skimming :^) i’m finally caught up! But anyways, I just wanted to say I love this cog so much, I thank @Seraphinite for creating such an amazing masterpiece! There’s not many cog like content that focuses mainly on the romances , especially the different reactions and scenarios the RO’s have towards our MC … I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS!

ps you all are too creative and amusing with coming up with the short scenarios, I can’t stop going back and rereading :joy: …also, bless you all who can get 8+ M friendship like idk how that’s even possible but apparently it is ctfu I’ll stop being annoying byee

I don’t know why but that’s something I didn’t quite expect from M. Please nobody be mad…
But still, it feels good to know that even the hard-hearted people always has some soft spots. :hugs:

But isn’t Wall-E a bit more… technology? Although there is a “love story” in there. Maybe N would decide to “overlook” the technology parts of the movie.

...

I couldn’t sleep for two days already, thinking too much about the SONSS. Now, it feels like someone’s hammering my head. I gotta start sleeping properly now, otherwise, I’d start hallucinating. Literally.

Yes, but the movie also shows the potentially harmful effects of overreliance on technology, which would probably leave N feeling vindicated.
Though honestly that would probably be the icing in the cake, as I’m sure N would like the love story more.

edit: Let me elaborate on that given one of Sera’s answers.

Nate/Nat doesn’t like how humans rely on technology so much. The whole world relies on technology, but they worry about if it stopped functioning then how would people manage. N’s still trying to manage without it as much as possible.

Literally, N’s worst technology fear is the backstory to Wall-E. I mean, this is a movie where big businesses destroyed the planet, but more importantly, coddled humanity to such an extent that they lust bone and muscle density, turned them into giant babies, and kept them ignorant of all things—it’s probably N’s worst dystopian nightmare come to life (er, animated to life). I wouldn’t be surprised is they just nod in agreement throughout the entire movie like, “Yes, yes, this is exactly what I keep telling F but they never listen!”

I just…I feel like N likes being right (maybe I’m projecting because I’m that way, lol), so having this movie tell them, “Oh, no, yeah, technology is like the worst…unless it’s a cute little robot that’s more human at this point,” would just have N be like, “Hmm, yes, tell me more.”

And that’s not even getting into the fact that the main antagonist, Auto the autopilot, is like…I mean, I don’t think it would take much convincing to have N dislike Auto.

N: It reminds me of the cellular phone, always mocking me.
MC: What?
N: Nothing.

And then there’s a sweet, darling, whimsical romance???

idk man, I just think Wall-E is the perfect Pixar movie for N!

Ok, then don’t think about F getting really interested by the concept of closets being portals back home.
Don’t think about F watching Finding Nemo and when Gill takes Nemo under his wing (er, fin), F just looks over at A.

Instead, think about F pointing at Doug from Up and saying, “I want one.” And then every time F sees a golden retriever on the street they stop everything they’re doing, point, yell “Doug!” and then run over to the owner and ask if their dog can talk, but of course the owner says, “No, of course not” and F gets sad but then the owner says, “Would you like to pet the dog?” and F is like, “Yes, please!” and then they pet the dog for like ten minutes, and then F is just like, “Today was a good day.”
