reading about prejudice against vampires… again
All right, I can’t ignore this anymore. Why? Why everyone and their mother keep talking about how humans in the Agency are more inclined to work with demons or imps, of all things, rather than vampires? I mean, c’mon. How… how even… why? How vampires are less palatable (and more monstrous, apparently 
) than demons?
Wh… ugh, ok, I’m done. 
Probably because of the myths that vampires will drink a human’s blood without their permission. You know, Dracula and such?
Also, it’s clear that in the story, some myths about vampires are false so obviously that would create some kind of panic in a human if they aren’t aware of how they actually go around with the blood in the story.

More about the drinking stuff
It’s kinda weird to me to see how strict these things are in US. Now i couldn’t legaly drink under the age of 18, but that’s not an enforced law. No one expects underaged teens to not drink. Everybody knows it’ll happen and no one cares so any kind of alcohol is sold freely. All the middle schooled kids will always order alcohol when they go out as a class because it is considered “cool”. The only difference when you’re a minor is that the waiters or the bartender will ask for the money beforehand because teens can just not pay afterwards and you cannot do anything about it once that happens. But yea, you can go to bars or any kind of store and buy whatever you wish if you have the money.
I’d love to visit US someday, but not all of the states. But i have time. I want to finish visiting all of Europe first and then focus on other continents :D.

This did strike me as odd too. We know of far more malevolent demons than vampires. Then again, I doubt that the traditional definition of two words can be easily applied to WH universe.
That challenge, although tough, has its own bittersweet rewards. Stay strong!

I wonder too. Honestly I would be afraid of possession 24/7 with a demon (because, I guess that’s the thing they do)? With a vampire it’s just like “Don’t hurt yourself.” 
I don’t know though. Maybe it’s some complicated social thing going on with vampires. Like in the instance that they feed from you, it might come with a bunch of obligations or something. I’ve no idea, but it would make sense that vampires have their own “culture” in a way, because their lives are so separate from humans (much like other supernaturals).
Edit: It’s kind of weird though, since (from what I’ve read), vampires have been associated with demons. There’s the “Jiang-Shi”, a type of vampire that steems from asian culture. They don’t drink blood, instead they drain the life force of their victims. That seems awfully close how one would picture a demon. So, really- what’s the difference? 
I think I ought to research this subject more.
