can’t we get an option to slap usui back?
I found an error with Usui she says a sentence as if I didn’t know Kawabata (I did know him) then the same sentence appears but correctly and then a question appears that doesn’t make sense (because I already knew Kawabata)
Will there ever be a primary and secondary magic type? Or will we just focus on one .agic type?
I had this too.
It will work like Nen from HxH. You can train to use other types of magic, but the more incompatible and distant It is from your original, the more difficult and not worth It, It is. Though learning technics from types closer to yours can get you some good advantages.
Now that the update is out and I finished playing it, it’s time to give some feedback!! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
Gushing over characters
Sakura, my dearest Sakura… I will take your man, I promise. I’m not even interested in Katsuo romantically yet, I just really really like Sakura’s reactions. Please never change and don’t fall in love with Kazuki, you’re much funnier this way. Being in a love triangle and your love rival is just someone who’s very petty and quick to get jealous just screams entertainment. Not to mention she got sisterzoned and yet she still isn’t not giving up. Don’t worry girl, I will make it worse for you.
Now Katsuo, if you’re a girl, is a flirty fellow. And he flirts using money, so everything is great. Plus his flirting makes Sakura angry. That’s the best part. The other thing I like is that he doesn’t feel like a stock rival, if that makes sense? I mean, when I read his description, I expected someone who’s cold to everyone, not just to strangers. Someone who’s brooding and doesn’t smile. And yet here he is, totally breaking my expectations.
Maybe that’s why I prefer SakuKatsu’s duo more than UsuiKazu’s one as of this update…Even if it does feel like MC is third wheeling. Eh, I’m sure that will change with time.
Now, who’s next… Kazuki is still a sweetheart who’s scoring every possible chance to win Usagi’s heart. While remaining oblivious. Hah, classic. He’s nice and I like that subtle shift from Kawabata-san to Kawabata-kun. Or at least I hope I didn’t imagine it.
Usagi should definitely take MC shopping. MC’s wardrobe is kinda non-existent and someone should show them the least expensive shops with cute clothing. Maybe even with Kazuki tagging along?
I don’t really have a strong opinion on Ellen or Hiroko. They’re not really my type. But still, I love the fact of Hiroko’s existence. Including a character with a disability in a magical setting is just…so freaking cool. And not making her disability a part of her personality is just a cherry on top.
Ellen just reminds me of a certain someone from the Novel’s extra…
Oh wow, that was wordy. But hey, I hope detailed feedback is helpful (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
I would want the talks to not be so one sided. There werent enough choices for me sadly. But I like this anime world so far!
I kinda want the nice but actually planning something dialogue too, similar to Light Yagami.
Act nice but is actually planning your downfall with a smile.
This is really one of those updates where you have to replay it multiple times to get the full experience and I can say it was definitely worth the 10 replays
Well apparently from the test I am ESR - obliterator, that’s said looking forward to cast something big that goes boom!!!.
While the test show I am somewhat extroverted in the story I choose to not actively get to know everyone and prefer watch everyone behind the scene/from distance.
Which somewhat in my imagination fit with obliterator type, let them fight while I channel mega spell like meteor or judgement to end the fight.
If ESR is my main class maybe I’ll get something like ESE/ISR for close range for subclass.
This is just my opinion but the end of the demo the quest looks dire and probably too revealing for just opening part of the story.
Quest:
Prevent your death in 300 something day.
Isn’t that a potential spoiler? I mean you know now something big will happen when the timer runs out just by reading that quest.
It probably better to change it to :
Quest:
Prepare for Final Exam.
Failure condition : (insert name here) died.
Without revealing the countdown timer this way player might have vague idea it may just an exam but the fail condition surely put some suspicion and keep the surprise intact.
Edit: about the story I have no complain it’s pretty well written for introduction part, it just my own way of doing things to prefer not to interact with the “main character” Early in the story.
Maybe later when my character no longer suck.
[SPOILER DON’T Read if you want to play the update]
( i don’t know how to do the spoiler thing😓)
The update was very fun I chose Kazuki and Usagi’s path but that girl ate all my money
and she has the audacity to ask for more with Kazuki (I know she paid half but still
). and the moment when she hugged him was cute (enjoy this moment because I’m on my way to steal him
). And also when he said that he would share his sweet with me and Usagi felt rather annoyed (Girl don’t make me turns on you because I want to be friends with you
). and I also have a doubt that the main character has a problem with his magic or that he doesn’t have magic at all (because in anime The main character always suffers or is weak at the beginning and as events develop the main character grows with his power ) or the situation is different with this character (I am very excited
). and the message at the end does it mean that I have to survive school until the last day or that I have to prepare because there is an event will happen and I am supposed to die in that event
??? ( a chef kiss:sparkles:). I enjoyed the update very much (thank you so much author) This story is very enjoyable and I hope it will reach the end and be memorable. and I hope it will be enjoyable for you as well (I wish you all the best
)
The new quest is spoiling a lot of the game just like the act name. Try to come up with something less revealing. I hope we actually get some less serious quests soon to spend time with the cast.
I think death is a great motivator for the mc .It will really make them work hard so I think it was perfectly fine for mc to know they will die.Now that they know they will die they have a huge motivation to become stronger and avoid their death.Death can be the greatest motivator.
The name of the mission is very motivating, and it doesn’t say what will happen, but only that you must prevent your imminent death
@ZCometa: This is a fun start, and I look forward to seeing how it goes.
I like the idea that even though this is basically an isekai story, we’re not actually from the real world, we’re just an NPC who’s become self-aware.
I’m very fond of Kazuki – hopefully he’ll be romanceable by male characters – even if I have to put up with Usagi to hang with him (hopefully she’ll get some character development soon). Speaking of the pair of them, I would very much like it if the initial meeting let me completely ignore Usagi to make sure that Kazuki’s not hurt.
Also, part of me wants to play Kazuki; the non-magical student fighting for acceptance at a magical academy. (Someone should write a game like that.) But more seriously, I think the pairing of “no magic but protagonist powers” and “genre-savvy but NPC” could be a very fun combo…
I think that’s kinda the point: it’s not a spoiler, it’s literally just spelling out the stakes, rather than letting them be implicit (as they would be in most other stories; after all, if you were going to die any time, it would be at the season finale…) It’s not telling us anything about the exact circumstances, just the date. And as @Suryaansh_mokta says, death is a very good motivator.
If we are in a anime does that mean people watch it? I wonder what kinda audience reactions happen seeing a side character suddenly start becoming so strong. Pov viewer action lmfao.
Even though the world isn’t real I didn’t expect that all NPCs apart from the mc to behave like actual NPCs lol.I thought the world would be more Alive that even though it’s not technically real but at the same time it is for the people in that world.I think the world and the NPCs becoming more real can be a great plot point as mc progresses throughout the game changing their own fate causing a butterfly effect which causes effects on the whole world becoming more real lol.By the end of the game the world is actually real would be great because rn only the main cast and maybe some other people are characters who have some sort of life others are just there so the world is pretty dead lol.
I’m assuming the audience would just assume we were always supposed to be a major character, especially if you had the first-day collision with Kazuki. Unless the manga/light novels were different, and then they’d just chalk it up to an adaptational change.
