I too will be mostly of the “leave me alone to study, I just want to live my own life and don’t need to be a part of the anime plot” persuasion. Mostly because I have a feeling that the plot will reach out and grab you if you try that and it could be quite funny.

Since this is an isekai, do we have anime looks and mannerisms too? Do we have oversized eyes, massive head, close our eyes when we smile, etc?
@ZCometa Does Hiroko possess some kind of telekinetic magic or a caretaker? Cause I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure it would not be easy to tie your hair in a ponytail without any hands 
Don’t mind it with meeting teacher it’s natural to know the teacher at least that’s how school usually works student and teacher know each other.
My MC just avoid the main group of student character, I don’t really mind knowing the teacher but to get stronger I am imagining our MC will get to know the teacher at least for lesson or train.
This just a suggestion but I feel my character would prefer to not attend the festival probably prefer to spend time to learn stuff or get stronger at least.
From what I am reading our MC is non canon character and after gaining awareness should they start to diverge immediately from the story? from what they should do according to manga author? I mean attending festival probably the canon NPC route skipping it to train and get stronger is non canon character development route, after all our MC already know who is the hero or primary character in the manga and they also know that they’re far beneath them in term of power, generally people (in this case former NPC) that know such story development would strive to close the gap in ambitious manner like studying, training, grinding or try to get a hand on power item instead of doing mundane things like spending time in festival.
The more our MC closing the power gap the more their confidence in confronting the manga primary character grow and as they get stronger they can start intervening in the main plot.
In the story like this there is no such thing as overkill when it comes to power have more = better since our MC can influence how the story unfold.

Here me out it wouldn’t make too much sense to me for the MC to start randomly training their heart out for a couple reasons. We don’t know any of the characters power levels, we also have no looming threat that requires us to train, and we don’t even know what kind of magic there is in this world. I think instead we should look for a library for us to learn more about the world it’s magic and it’s people considering we got confused by a basic barrier at the Academy gate.

How about it being a potential choice, after all some people after finding out they are in an anime would decide to power game and just get as strong as possible, while others like you suggested would try to research as much as possible about the new world.
Most would do some combination of both though truthfully.

Well to be fair I do Include studying, training, grinding or trying to find out magical Item, isn’t there is news about terror attack? If not the motivation is to get stronger at least as average, our MC is level 1, very basic they can access her stats level and quest tab no? Should they be worried with level 1 status? Aren’t they aware they’re basically nobody, background character? Isn’t it painfully obvious that should anything happen (since our MC also aware they’re character inside a manga) they just too weak to survive?
I mean sure teacher and others could save MC but are they willing to bet their existence to a stranger? There is plenty factor to be concerned about.
Isn’t MC curious to find out about the world now that they have awareness? What kind of magic at work, what ability there is?
It’s also told in story that MC have no knowledge about the world beside fake memories they have, like they remember have parents but are they even exist? Their previous education? Shouldn’t they at least paranoid about that?
Roleplay perspective:
If one day I find myself at this situation I am at least will try to find out more about the world, what kind of world this is, the historical record, the population demographic, or at least the worldview in general and general geography of the world.
Especially if I am aware I am not the chosen one in a manga story, I would be paranoid that I can’t concentrate doing mundane stuff like attending the festival, I would try very best to not to be just common NPC.

If I remember the summary correctly, she does have telekinesis of some sort, like using magic to simulate arms and hands, I just don’t know if she uses it to tie her hair.
But it would not be wild to assume she’s got a caretaker, that should be normal, right?

First time commenting on forum, so I hope I use all functions properly ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ Everything I discuss contains spoilers so please don’t read if you haven’t played the update yet.
Ideas
- Adding a choice where we agree to pay for Usagi’s lunch not because we want her to stop being “annoying” or to befriend her, but to prevent Kazuki from wasting his money on what is clearly not his problem would be nice. He’s kind so I imagine some MCs might feel bad. ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )
- Oh man I dunno how it’s called but some games have a list of name suggestions when you create a character. It might be a good idea to add something like that. It’s a bit harder to think of a Japanese name compared to an English one,
First impressions
I expected to like Kazuki but it seems I underestimated how much. He is so sweet ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
. Definitely a golden retriever bf. Can’t wait to make him the strongest so my MC could relax and chill while he saves the world and stuff.
The other guy who caught my attention is Yoshito. All it took was some puppy eyes and he already blushed? I’m in!
Out of the girls the one I liked the most is Sakura. Both her and Katsuo treat MC differently depending on gender, right? With my fem MC she was openly antagonistic lol. Not that I mind, it was amusing.
The only thing that interests me in Katsuo however, is his hair color… In the game his hair is described as black and in the character glossary it’s described as silver… He doesn’t hide his status or who he is so there must be another reason as to why… Interesting.
Right now the only characters I don’t care about are Hiroko and Akio.
In conclusion, I enjoyed the update! It’s certainly an ambitious project, but if you believe in yourself, Author, then I believe in you too! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

Well to be fair Kazu is the only male Ro that doesn’t go straight jerk other seems so dark in comparison.
As FMc I think it’s quite clear expecting catfight with other Female characters here and if this going harem route it’s fighting for the first spot,
Maybe different with MMc since he is potential love rival.
