Whistles Innocently
Update: Jeez, I almost forgot what progress felt like.
I’ve been working on this for several hours now today, and I’m admittedly exhausted from all the writing, so forgive me if this update is lackluster, but put simply, I’ve made a good bit of progress on this today.
My hope is that by tomorrow, I’ll have enough done that I’ll be able to upload the the first 1/3 of the chapter (maybe 1/2 if I’m lucky). So hopefully tomorrow I’ll have some new stuff for you guys to read.
A wild chapter 3 appears!
Alright guys, I’ve updated what I have of chapter 3 to the link, so you’re free to read through it whenever you like! As always, if you find an error somewhere let me know, if you have a critisism let me know, if you have a compliment then definitely let me know (I never refuse a chance to get my ego stroked. ) and I hope you guys enjoy it!,
MORE, more! I’m warming up to B3, if he (it?) betrays me I’m gonna be sooo saaad! I played through and messed with my stats a bit to see the different outcomes, I really like the way you’ve done them. I even freed as many prisoners as possible! I’ll do another playthrough sometime soon and see what else I can do. I usually go for charm and strength attributes, so next I’ll try intelligence since i skipped that one these times.
I seriously love this, especially the few robot interactions I’ve had. I like that they seem to have feeling and aren’t just mindless drones. This is really great and I’m looking forward to see what else you have in store. You’re an expert at cliffhangers, my fingers are going numb from me hanging on here!!!
That moment when you wake up in the morning, do a quick double-check of the code, and notice there was a gamebreaking error in one of the potential scenes. Whoopsie… At least that’s fixed.
Also, @cottoncandy, I’m really glad you’re enjoying this so far! I only hope I don’t disappoint.
After a bit of playtesting, I realized that chapter 3 has a lot of errors; I changed one of the variables from a string to a boolean, but didn’t fix all of the *if checks corelating to the variable.
I’m not in a position to fix this now, but I’ll fix it as soon as I’m able. Until then, I apologize if some choices causes the game to crash.

Ok, I fixed the spelling error, and I -think- I fixed all of the game-breaking scenes. Let me know if I missed any, though!
I love the new content! Keep up the good work!
glad to see more B3
although I haven’t trust them completely tho

The guards here aren’t incompetent - at least a handfull of people won’t leave regardless.
“It’s just a precaution , and you can flip them back on once we’re down there. Ok?”
The kid’s presence here alone led you to this conclusion
Fixed the typos, thanks for pointing them out.

Update: Hey people! I just thought I’d let it be known that work is currently being made on the rest of chapter 3.
At the rate I’m moving so far, I think I’ll be able to get the next portion of the chapter out sometime by the end of the week. So expect that!
Alright, guys! The next portion of chapter 3 is up and ready to play, but that’s not the only thing I worked on. I tweaked a few things in the previous chapters, too.
List of Major Changes:
-Made it more difficult to gain B3 reputation: Considering if you played your cards right, it was possible to get to 100% reputation with B3 in chapter 3, I decided to tweak that a little bit. I didn’t want the reputation to build up that fast.
-Made it more difficult to save the prisoners in Chapter 2: Considering it was originally incredibly easy to rescue the prisoners (only a niche few people wouldn’t be able to do it without upsetting B3) I decided to make the checks a bit more difficult. So unless your charm or intelligence is at the peak, you’ll have to risk upsetting B3 or not save the prisoners.
-New scene!: It’s not very lengthy, and I don’t want to give too many details about it right from the get-go, but if you don’t save the prisoners, there’s a new scene you can partake in. I also used the scene to show a little love to stealth-based characters, since there haven’t been many agility checks so far.
I think that’s everything important. So feel free to read up whenever you want, and I hope you enjoy it!

“You won’t.” B3 responds, its tone matter-of-fact. "What I reccommend is that you keep me here.

Fixed the typos, sorry for taking so long to get to it. Thanks for pointing them out!
So, I just thought I’d announce that the next portion of chapter 3 should be the last one. It’ll also be the most dense content-wise, I think, which conversely means it’ll take me a little while longer to get it finished. I’ll let you know when I’ve made good progress on it!
I’ve just read the robocoop path and damn
also yes B3, you’re one exceptionally handsome toaster

Your conditions in the bastion are abhorrent, to say the least.
You glance briefly to B3, only to find it silently watching you, gauging your reaction to the command.
I can offer more information until the former event occurs, or until your people can achieve guaranteed safety.
However, your thoughts slowly begin to slip away from you as you collapse onto the nearest cot
Thanks for pointing out the typos. It’ll be a little while until I can get them fixed; I won’t have access to my computer for a good chunk of the day, but as soon as I can, I’ll get it fixed.
I suppose now is a decent time to mention that every character with a relationship meter will be an RO.
