It’s weird I can hate him and I like him at the same time I like him trying to improve people’s lives but I hate how how he didn’t want the sword to get the kingdom and it looks like he’s trying to start a rebellion if our character it’s the sword I feel like if we dual him seeing how he acted by even threatening the younger sibling The one who barely has battle experience The one that always came in last in the beginning because that’s what I view our character Even if they’re 16 now our characters trying to build a kingdom over his fathers who experienced conflict too many involving his siblings and hearing the stories about them I think our character doesn’t want that hell I don’t want that and the other reason why I don’t like him that much is well Richard and me have something in common that is us being half brothers and bastards but his jealousy is going to ruin him trying to have faint affection is the worst thing to do even though you’ve got affection from the siblings that do you love you ruining your chances for the siblings who do love you

Ooh. I vaguely remember not being too fond of the writing the first time around, but this remake is pretty nice. Really interested to play the complete product now.
i wouldn’t say that I hate him… But playing a character that really wants the Throne, and is pretty close to her sisters, makes it inevitable that there’s a lot of frictions with him. And yeah, I do admit that bashing him over the head after the shit he pulled did feel satisfying.

I think it’s pretty much pettiness when you look at Richard at the first time in the story in this game he didn’t really want the throne but he wanted to improve his relationship with a certain girl but I understand too many things he saw the outside of the castle and so reality but his jealousy of not being chosen by his king his father and letting a younger half brother or sister take over got him over the edge and I’ve been too nice to his crush Yes I’ve been being the good guy too much so gladly go to court for for trying to start a triangle by pure accident oh literally I didn’t know what the heart meant!

Did not expect there to be a remake of this! Excited to see what the changes are, curious as to how a re-release works for an already published game. Do people buy it again?
Wonder if there’ll be any changes to what increases/decreases leadership and if there’s any benefit to choosing hand-to-hand as archery seems to get approval for the hunt whilst swordsmanship seems to be the overall better skill for how much it comes into things, half expected combat to also be relevant during the fight.
Playing through the demo and there’s a few minor bugs; referred to as brother by Richard when I snuck out to the training grounds despite being his sister and during the scene where your father comforts you whilst you’re unconscious it said I thought he was Ser Arnold when I’d said chosen your grace.

Well my old MC manage to avoid rivalry between siblings, it just she’s not popular with commoners while trying to save every character in the story.
Jokes on Xavier sister wanted my MC to be with him that’s exactly what I want.
I am not restricting my sibling love life sister go with pirates while the brother having that maid, I am not going to be a hypocrite because my choice also probably raise some eyebrow, now the only single is that one sister not sure who she likes tho because I already granted wish of two sibling my older sister get to be chancellor I think it’s fair.
While my MC surrounded by loyal retainer I think I cannot avoid rebellion only few applause during speech. I do have the army to fight though thanks to Xavier, there will be change in Rhivenia.
In old story your character more likely to be chosen by the sword if your character have high leadership this mean be middle ground and arbitrate fairly without preference one way or another, like with MC’s mom she is guilty and MC should admonish her, sometimes MC’s sister is in the wrong and sometimes the brother is in the wrong, correctly pick the fair judgement will add more leadership, unless you’re playing as what would be usurper than I guess that goes that way.

I haven’t finished the demo yet, but I actually love Richard. He’s a sweet older brother, and I’ve been taking his side and encouraging his crush. Now, maybe that will change further into the demo. But I remember really liking him when everyone else hated him

I think he’s also being influenced more and more to behave in a certain way towards you by Isabelle and Matteo as the king’s illness/poisoning progresses.
I’ve spoken to her literally once (via choice) and I still get the same nonsensical reaction from R over her. So I think it’s just plot.

I’m not the only person who doesn’t approve of Freya getting together with a pirate, right? I don’t know what she’s being fed, but unless that dude wants to open a bakery, I don’t see Freya enjoying a life of sea crime.
She can’t just leave if she wants to either. That dude strangled someone to death without hesitation in book 1. I hope we can do something about her escape this time around.
Also, shoutout to my boy, the ring stealer. He died without knowing Nutella possessed him for story progression…

hm, i don’t think i realized this before, but Clara is the same age as MC, which makes richard 4 years older than her.
4 years is a small age gap but i think a 17 year old richard going after a 13 year old clara, and after the time skip him being 20 and being all pissy abt a 16 year old rejecting him might bother some people. i really couldn’t care less abt this, but just saying in case it’s not intentional, lol.
anyway, i used to like richard somewhat, but he really pissed me off this time. not going to defend him anymore! 
definitely. my MC has been nothing but rude to her and he’s still jealous. which tbf kinda makes sense bc despite my MC being a bitch to her clara seems to like her anyway? lol
