At least you can access the demo!! I can’t even access the game at all (Apple) User
This game stopped after chapter 4, but I thought I remembered going past that in Ironheart. I bought it on steam afterward so I’m not sure. I’ll check again.
Edit: False alarm. I made it to chapter 7 in Ironheart before it asked me to buy it. Still more than I was expecting though.
Edit 2: I just played through again and only got to chapter 5. I think I’m just going crazy. It seems everthing is working as intended.
If it looks like you actually did play through the whole game, then please send an email to CoG support:

Skulking in the dark shadows waiting for part 2
sinisterly eyeing Morgan
Any updates yet?
Waaaa it finally works!! Thank you!!
Before i start giving my opinion on the book i would like to say that english is not my first language so im sorry if i make a mistake.
The story of the book is amazing, i really like how you can choose a few Backgrounds stories for your MC that adds a replayability to the book, i have a soft spot when it comes to romance unfortunately that’s where the game doesn’t end up being perfect and im going to explain why and that way maybe the author (Morgan) can ease some things, i don’t know if is considered spoilers but i’m going to blur it just in case (I dont know how harsh they are with spoilers I’m kind of new here on the forum)
First of all, i get the feeling that the author wanted to push people into a poly relationship with either Morkai and Straasa or Daelynn and Eledwen, for D and E it fells a little less in that way,but with M and S feels a lot more like that
at first i wanted to romance Morkai but he obviously have a thing for his beloved friend, that from my point of view, just feels like I’m just a replacement or something like that, and god knows I’ve had enough of that irl (i like to view the MC as me in this kind of books).
-And then there is Straasa, and with him is the same thing.
-As for Daelynn maybe I’m being a bit too drastic here (even more when i haven’t even check her route) but she gives me the kind of vibes that she is going to cheat on the MC at first chance with the first person that accepts her advances, with that attitude of always flirting with everyone, maybe she changes a little when she starts dating the MC? if this is the case i would like to know please, that way i can feel more sure about her.
-Also the Secret RO hehe i just like villains so much ,well maybe in this case is an antagonist but the point is the same, second best romance for me
-And the better RO is definitely Eledwen damn she needs to be loved and protected at all cost even at the cost of MC life
Also I don’t know if I’m the only one but i had struggles to romance Morkai at my first attempt, I thought everything was going good and then bam i got myself in the friendzone
I’m eagerly awaiting for the sequel i want to know what stones the others are going to get
Soo that was my opinion, for me this game is a 8/10 mostly because Morkai heart was already taken in my opinion, but if you are into poly relationships then this game is going to be 10/10 for you
I’m hoping that the sequel dont take too long to come out i mean that cliffhanger oh boy my MC needs to save his Soul Mate
I read your response, and I was planning on answering back. Then I realize it’s just going to escalate.
At the end of the day, your feelings are more important to me than a game or the 5$ that I spent.
I live in isolation constantly, and I can’t talk to people (It’s almost impossible for me, although I do try), so it’s very hard for me to gauge if I hurt someone.
That is why I always say that I’m not very good with words and put that disclaimer on top.
You said I called you deceptive and greedy and that you resent that. That is not what I meant. I did not mean to call you deceptive and greedy.
I don’t want you to feel resentful.
I offended you, and I’m here to apologize. I’m sorry.
The neat thing about hosted games is that authors tend to be more accessible, so I feel more comfortable reaching out to them. Even with that, it’s not easy for me.
What I wanted was to bring you how I felt at that moment, to see if you could help me. I wanted to enjoy the game just like the rest and not feel excluded.
I do forget that that is not the authors’ job.
I wanted to apologize also for ruining your day. I think this is your first game here, and nobody deserves to have their special day ruin like that.
I’m sorry.
As for what you said.
I did not make this up. I can only bring up the things that are presented to me in games.
I took the screenshots. The warnings are not in all the paths, just one.
If you say that you did put warnings on all of the paths, then I’m going to take your word for it.
Maybe it’s a bug, and I’m not seeing it on my part. If it is, I did not know about it. I’m sorry.
If what you mean is that the warning was only necessary only in the 3rd background, then I will respect it.
At the end of the day, you are the author, and you have the final say in your story and in whatever you create.
It was not my intention to waste your time with something stupid on my part.
Again I apologize for that.
I’ll erase what I wrote and take back what I said.
I’m not going to review the game. Take my purchase in good faith and as support for you.
The final thing I wanted to say is congratz on the release of your game, and I hope that you have another successful sequel release.
(If this comes out the wrong, just know that I’m trying and I hope you can understand me.)
Are you talking about the Harvest’s Bounty path?
Yes
Yep, I’m pretty confident it is
This is so awesome! Have already done several playthroughs to see how choices affect story and to try the romances. <3 the characters so much… and that ending… am eager for the next part! Just wanted to say that the game is amazing and so well written. Just wow <3
FUDGE FUDGE FUDGE THAT CLIFFHANGER AT THE END AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
I really looooooved the game its fantastic from start to finish. DaeDae’s romance path was really beautiful. Can’t wait for second book to be confirmed and make infinite saves.
I want to say I think the writing is good and the plot is engaging but the flaw I see is I that while you are given customizable options the game has a clear route it wants you to play, otherwise your actions are incongruent with the perception of your character. You can choose to be an imposing figure in height and of adult age, but still be referred to as a child.
You can continuiously aid in combat and hold your own in front of your companions, then whenever the notion of you being self sufficient comes up it is met with laughter and astonishment, like the idea is ludicrous. I could understand if the protagonist themselves was just insecure and internally struggled with fear and self doubt, but I just can’t make sense of the reactions you get from your companions after they personally could see what you are capable of. You would think that even if you clearly doubt yourself after they see what you could do they would offer you words of encouragement instead of the constant protective shell they encase you in.
I will restart and play the game in the route I think it is meant to be played so I could see the rest of the story though.
@Servant_of_choices Soon
@gtumama The intention was never to push anyone into a poly relationship or into a romantic relationship at all even. Some romances have more content than others because you meet the characters early on, and that’s just how the story progresses. As for the specific romances: Morkai and Straasa care for each other very deeply but they’re not trying to get into a relationship with each other nor do they have unresolved feelings. On the contrary, they cheer each other on when one of them starts connecting with the MC. The MC is not a replacement for anyone. And Daelynn, despite her flirtiness, has never cheated on anyone in her life, much less the MC with whom she falls in love at first sight. And I really hope the sequeal doesn’t take too long either
@LGonza Thank you! This game was an effort of love through and through, and I will continue doing my best to make the series as awesome as it can be!
@Fiend Didn’t like the ending? But why? It’s not like it left you in suspense or anything…
And yiiiis, Daelynn is a precious bean in love, I adore her
Still not working for me
@Notsofunny I do not believe I have treated anyone as a second class reader. The content you miss by choosing another background is 0,2%, meaning one flashback scene and confiding about it to Daelynn in her romance. The backgrounds will have more of an impact from book 2 and on, they are more introductory for now.
I believe the warning I have given is adequate because this background is entirely skippable. If the readers had no choice but to go through that scene, then yes, a larger disclaimer should have been made and the option to skip it added. But as it is, the option to pick something else is already added. It’s entirely up to the reader. And the content lost is minimal.
Deciding to play the game or not is your prerogative, but I resent being called a money grabber or deceptive when I provided a clear warning in all the paths and the option to choose other backgrounds. And the background choice is in the free chapters of the game. That is all I have to say.
Wow, so far this game is absolutely amazing . I’m still on my first playthrough so can’t give full review but i just love it so much at this point that i thought the author deserves to know what a great job they did and how amazing they are
.
Thank you for this game and i am definitely a fan of the series now for life
The univers remind me of Ravenloft in d&d.
I have still not finished my first playthrough… But I fear for my faithful mule.
I really hope she will survive this story.
Honestly, this game is really something. I liked it and i was satisfied from what i have got. It has its dark side with sarcasm and humour mixed to make it even better.
It really also, gave me a feeling of Fateheaven, another epic game. I felt that our character were already pre designed, some choices didn’t even matter since the outcome would be one, but oh boy, some other choices would and could definitely change the whole thing. Also, another thing that i liked was how implemented were our characteristics in, it felt unique.
Another great, and definitely the best, is how interaction with the characters were made. Not a second i felt that it was too much or too less. It was balanced and really well written. They felt real and i really was feeling all the emotions that needed to be felt at that particular moment.
I really liked the game and definitely will wait for the second part!!!
