I pointed out how I don’t like it when she/he makes eyes at that assistant, she/he goes “Lol, yeah nah” and gets mad at me and says this can’t work out anyway, my character goes “Yes it can :(“ they go to run off, then just start picking the Yandere options such as stopping her from leaving, not letting go, ordering her to stay, the works.
So basically handle the situation as poorly as possible when she/he begins rejecting you, and it’ll become a flat out one I think.

Also throughout the game I only picked the shy flirt options, not the assertive ones, and occasionally didn’t pick a flirt option depending on the situation but 90% of the time I did, so I think the level of regection mostly depends on how you deal with the situation in the final bits of chappy 4
I do the flirtiest flirt options, slept w him in his apartment, called him out on flirting w the cult dude but did the nicer options re: being together, I think. It’s a really cute end to this portion of the demo…good luck!
@LordNanachi If you treat Roach forcefully, so that’s what you can get. If you let them go, they just need some space, some time to…gather their thoughts? They had a not-so-happy history, they did not exactly mean to rejecte you when they want to get out, that’s just my insist though, if you let them go, whether you go out yourself or stay in the cabin, Roach will come back later that night, then they will confess, they will confide a fragment of their history, they are kind of…afraid? uncertain? That history will tell you more, then you can have sex with them if you kiss them later.

I come bearing not so great news; my drive to write seems to be a little low and so CH5 is taking me a lot more time than it has any right to (only 9k words out of a goal of 20k/25k). Chances are CH5 won’t be ready before this month ends.

Went to see Fiama (cose romancing her), so Roach is all friendly . So after I did that, I got another choice and I choose to go see Roach . So found her in a white robe, after a shower right ? So she talk blahblahblah . But once that scene where she tell me about laying eggs lol (Seriously? Lol)…the next scene say ‘‘you came back to an empty room-Lodging’’ . So that doesn’t work with that scene…since the last thing you say is ‘‘go to sleep…’’ .

FIELD NOTES - What we have seen so far:
they can mess with radio waves and they messed up the security feed in the gas station. Possibly electricity? Decent chance they can mess with other types of waves on the electromagnetic spectrum.
Are our “ripples” considered on this spectrum? INCORRECT
It’s been stated they can shape shift but we haven’t actually seen it yet.
Their eyes certainly see differently than human eyes.

If I was a shifty little barnacle trying to sidle up next to an enormous powerful egotistical eating machine, I would downplay my power to fit in with its view of me. Let their ego fill in the gaps. My theory is Roach is exaggerating here to make them sound like the smallest threat possible.
Only getting attacked by the cave monster on one of the routes. I have a couple theories with this one.
First of all, a question; since this entity was hard for human brains to comprehend does this mean it wasn’t a Vessel but another smaller Roach-sized being that can live on Earth on it’s own? CONFIRMED
Obviously still higher on the food chain than Roach, though, if their terror was to be believed. CONFIRMED ROACH IS AN ABSOLUTE NOBODY. AN INSIGNIFICANT PIPSQUEAK, A WORTHLESS FRAGILE KNAVE, IF YOU WILL.
What are the chances that they would find ANOTHER entity in this small area when Roach said it was rare to run into another of their kind? Was Roach lying? Did Roach summon this thing? It seemed to be able to successfully mess with our mc’s mind enough to disable them.
Alternate theory to Roach summoning this thing: If we go thru the tunnel as well, it would have to attack the both of us at the same time. Can it tell the mc is powerful? Perhaps it only attacks Roach when they go off by themself whereas it is deterred from revealing itself if we are also present. Did we inadvertently protect Roach? Is this why Roach is sticking to us like glue? Because it’s actually safer for them even with the Hunter stalking us? This could also explain why it doesn’t chase us through the cave, because Roach has made it back to our side.
This also brings up a second question which is what exactly is the mc’s current powers and what do they give off to others from their realm? Are they just radiating waves constantly? Is Roach feeding off our energy just by being next to us?
Also a question for Pime: the mc threatens Roach a lot with how powerful they are but can they actually DO anything right now? We know they blinked a truck out of existence but that was an accident. Is there anything they can control? Is there anything to back up the threats? This might be a nice thing to actually mention in-game as well. CONFIRMED MC IS HOPING NO ONE LOOKS BEHIND THE CURTAIN INCLUDING THE MC
Roach isn’t as old as they say they are/ the world isn’t as empty of their kind as they say it is. Basically that Roach knows we have very limited knowledge of Earth and are very young here and one of the tricks they could use would be altering the mc’s perception for whatever their goal is.

I need to list this entire concept of Roach editing themself to appeal to the MC.
“As a perception tweaker, Roach will always pick the gender the MC is more attracted to”. I assumed this meant that they did some research into us (which we already knew they did per their conversation in the gas station) before making contact or that they have great gaydar for the closeted folks BUT.

How does one ACTUALLY sleep with Roach back at the apartment? I picked options that I thought equated to Newman and Roach doing the do, but my lack of a particular option later in the game implies that I did NOT in fact manage to do the horizontal with Roach.
You have to be bold; ask them if they want to shower with you, then prance naked and tell them they don’t know when to stop talking. It isn’t for all MCs. Shy ones get a more slow burn kind of deal.
