I think what he said to me in the beta. This is a war, in a war you canāt talking with your friends so much. There are some scenes in the army part like the food for karla. And half of your old companions could be dead. Last part I hope wring more friendly chat.

Anyone know how I can get Arcane Tattooist?
When you are going through the swamp, inquire the Mage about what the people who lives there. He will indicate the way to the Arcane Tatooist and you need to tell him/her that you want to become his/her apprentice.
I just discovered something that makes the ending even more sad.
[spoiler]The red never commits suicide if you appeal to them. They sacrifice themselves to save you. Read this:
Karlās hand begins to shake which causes the blade at your throat to dimple the skin. You can see him having a mental fight with himself. He raises his other hand and places it around the bare blade, then pulls it back from your neck! You can see blood running from his hand and you know that the last of the poison is rushing into the archer.
Karl fought with the force controlling him, his true self grabbed the blade held by the influenced side of him and protected your neck as the influence slashed the blade intending to cut your throat, cutting his hand and poisoning himself instead. When he says āForgive me.ā He wasnāt asking for forgiveness for trying to kill you, he was asking for forgiveness for not being strong enough to fight the influence, for allowing himself to fall victim and cause this chaos, for failing his best friend and the one person who believed in him more than anybody else.
I put all my bets on saying that Karlās mind was conscious during the influence and knew every action he was being forced to do.
Now please excuse me while I cry in a corner.[/spoiler]

i wish the red could have been our LIā¦ i mean having this scene with a friend was hard enough, imagine if it was the one you love?.. the thought that you failed him/her when you did not attempt to save him/her for a year and then she saves your life, imagine the guilt mc would have in LH3ā¦ or that you forsake your chance at winning the siege to save him/her thus putting you in a far worse situation but with the comfort of your beloved?.. atleast @Lucid is not GRRMā¦
Speaking of LI, out of the several playthroughs I have done only once did I get them pregnant. Is it randomised or does it require special circumstances?
only the gender is randomised if you use magic to learn it when your LI tells you, or in LH3 i assume it wud be randomised as well when she deliversā¦ you will always have a baby if you sleep with your LI atleast once, the code even makes sure that it happens or else an error occursā¦
it gets even more interesting if you dont have an LI or you have the same gender, so you get a baby in unique wayā¦ hehe
