The Lost Heir Trilogy

Artificer is kinda powerful for a wizard-thief who’s trying to branch into combat. While the Magic and Devices bonii, at this stage, are probably redundant, the combat bonuses (+15 to Blades and Archery) are nice, the physical stat increases are nice too, and after the New World, you get an enchanted bow and sword.

Is there a way to avoid Brinn from coming onto my single PC at the river? I don’t want to to take the relationship penalty. Also, who are the ROs in book 3? I know Poppy/Syndie is.

Have a relationship, have Bran/Brinn be the wrong gender, have a low relationship with Brinn or be ace.

And Poppy/Syndie is the only new relationship, though you can have sex with Lacey and with the mermaid.

Thanks for the quick response. Also, I am not going to do that with my adopted father’s daughter XD.

Also what does being an ace mean? And while we are at it, what happens if I research the affect of the potion from the nobleman?

Asexual.

And the potion is a path to the Berserker class.

$5.99 in the US. And if the person lives from paycheck to paycheck as many people do, or had a big expense pop up, then it makes sense if they have to wait.

I know a couple people where even a $15 game might be their discretionary entertainment budget, so they will wait for a big sale or what have you. And it isn’t something they did wrong, but if you suddenly get hit with a $10,000 hospital bill, then you will be cutting expenses to make ends meet.

Note: I don’t want to give the impression that I think the game is too high, I don’t, but I can see how someone may have to watch their budget very closely.

The one achievement, I’m stuck on how in the flip do I get seven demonstones!?

Sort of easy to get the 7 demonstones.

  1. You need to become a demon summoner in the Lost Heir 1. This will give you roughly 3 demons to control (Brahl, Xiatta, Z’onch). You should automatically get the Tyborr demonstone as the game progresses, bringing total up to 4.

  2. In Lost Heir 2, after you conquer the town of Ludd, you will get a menu/screen where you can choose to further pursue a class, or learn a new class. Near the bottom, there is a choice about sifting through captured Demonstones. Pick this one, and you get Gabbon (one who can warp through walls). This is demon stone 5.

  3. In Lost Heir 3, there are two things to get. First, when you visit the Consortium, you need to try and pluck Moff’s Demonstone. You will be in a demon summoning class, and you need to tell them you are ready. The response would look like: Reach out and grab the demon’s Demonstone from its chest. This will fail, you pick another action, and then you wake up in the real world with the Demonstone in your hand. This is Demonstone 6.

Second, there will be a Class Advancement screen again. You need to have a 75 relationship with Poppy/Syndie as well: for it to work. Choose: Focus all of my time on learning to become a Master Demon Summoner.

This will lead you to another screen after Poppy/Syndie trains you, one where you can trade and there is an option to also buy one at the bottom of the screen. You will need 300 gold. This bonus one (there is a choice of 3 there) will give you the 7th Demonstone.

What are the 8 artifacts that you can get in LH1? I could only get 6 or 7 at most.

You cannot get all of the artifacts well unless you’re a dirty little cheater like me that is.

Actually, it is possible, but a little tough. I had a thief to steal gold from people (such as letting Thea falling into a pit to steal her money, etc.), kill Master Jett, etc.

To get all 8 requires a specific build which includes playing an evil character, own lockpicks, and have some skill in devices, and you can’t be a demon summoner. You will also need to be frugal with your gold, even stealing from your teammates.

  1. Gloves of Archery - When you defeat the troll, Thea will have a box. If you have the lockpicks, and sufficient levels in Devices, you will open it and get this.

  2. Necklace of Nature - You have to rescue a sheep from a pit. You will see a door. Open it and face a bunch of kobolds. The last kobold will have a Necklace of Nature.

  3. Gem of Seeing - If you successfully take out the Camp at the Som’reth ruins, you will help Thea loot the place, and there is a special gem. You can take this as part of your shares.

  4. Magic Shield - When you return to Elmsvale, you can buy this from Jowal the Peddler for 700 gold.

  5. Family Signet Ring - If you have a good relationship with your foster parent, and didn’t become a demon summoner. You get this in Elsmvale as well talking to your foster parent.

  6. Feather of Glibness - You come across a shrine on the way. Examine the shrine, and give it 200 gold. You have to be evil to get this.

  7. Cloak of Spiders - You need to go down the corridor after the shrine which gives you the Feather of Glibness. Disabling the traps help here, though a high Endurance could help resist the dart. Decent relations with Karla will lower the Cape if you don’t have the Agility to climb.

  8. Belt of Speed - Defeat Thuja successfully at the end.

How does one get 700 gold for the shield? The most I could get is 300 as a bard, and what does the shield do exactly?

It’s a shield it defends you … just really really well. To get it you either need to be a thief or don’t buy anything; ever

Apparently someone mentioned you can work with Zusak. How is this possible and I’m guessing this is the villain ending right?

Thanks! Also, what are the stats of the magical artifacts found along with the Demonblade? I always grab the sword. But this time, I already have the Holy Avenger and I am looking for artifacts to help me minimize demon traits. The best I have managed is 85% humanity. I was especially wondering about the heart necklace and the colored vest.

Villain ending is taking control of the demons.

If you are curious about a Bard guide which gets all the magic items, I posted a similar guide in the Lost Heir Guide thread.

The following is an Assassin’s build which will garner you all the Magical Items in the game (8 out of 8).

I also promise not to spam this thread with other builds, but since a couple people asked, or wondered how things could be done.

This is an Assassin build which will focus on Agility, Devices, Stealth, Archery, and Endurance.

Note there will be some missing steps such as when you pick your name, but otherwise these will be in order.

I have also made it work with a thief build and a bard build, but it does require a lot more tweaking than below. It should be possible to make a relationship with anyone of choice, but you probably won’t get all of the people super high.

Minor choices can vary things somewhat as well, such as romance options.
