The Lost Heir Trilogy

Just wondering a little something about romances. There is no way to have two romances going at the same time? Because on my current replay, I’m romancing Petra this time, since I already got the hero ending with my favorite Jess. After I gave Petra flowers and even after officially starting said romance by sleeping together, I still saw the option to tell Jess that you like her. Now granted, I don’t have enough relationship stat with her atm to pick it, but if I did and I chose it, would I have 2 girls? Or would Petra smite me with holy fury or Jess burn out my eye sockets lol?

I think it just tanks your relationship with both of them.

I guess, it’s from the last part of the game? Well, this is intended, since character there meets very hard trials, and to successfully do them he need to be either exceptional in many fields, or use his new demonic abilities at the cost of Humanity.

Dang, that sucks. I also remember having a Poppy relationship option during the caravan party, giving me the option to kiss her while romancing Jess. I like Poppy, but I know Jess would kill me.

Also jealous Jess is ADORABLE. When we first me Lacey, and then I pull Jess out to the side and kiss her. She asks me did seeing Lacey get me all frisky. I was like DAWWW. There are some options like not all, a flat out yes, a little bit or flat out calling Lacy a dog in heat. I of course chose the not all option, she was skeptical for a tiny bit then let me kiss or hold her some more. You can then keep her there with you for a bit longer, then she makes you go back with her so others won’t gossip. Showing her vulnerable sides throughout the entire thing.

Also, if you don’t want Jess storming off or Poppy if you have her there too. DON’T perform a magic trick on the fire. Lacey will comment and piss off Jess and Poppy causing them to storm out.

Also I was really surprised at Jess in LH 2 even as a non-romanced companion. I faced Thuja with Petra and Jess, both survived with me. I took Petra with me and let Jess go keep an eye on things. When Petra and I reunited with Jess, she SMILED and HUGGED me. I was taken aback I tell you. Jess is just too adorable.both romanced and non.

You know what’s truly great about this series, it awards those who actually put efforts in the playthrough. This isn’t just a random button smash like many of the other games associated with COG, it actually involves a good amount of math skills and strategic planning from the player’s end to truly master the game. Screw those casual reviewers on steam, the good endings should be rightfully reserved for people who actually put effort into their gameplay.

Casual gamers buy a large amount of games - it is just a fact of life. Ignoring them means losing money, more then many non-casuals realize.

I don’t think @Lucid wants to screw those paying him money - which is why there needs to be balance and a way for casuals to reach “desired” endings within three attempts … they won’t stick with a title no matter how good it is if it frustrates.

The problem is striking a balance between challenge and frustration, if I wanted to feel a frustrating level of challenge I’d play Dark Souls 3 not a choose your own adventure game.
As it is I played through LH1 in a way that made it near impossible to not lose the battle for Tornassa. I shouldn’t feel obligated to make a pact with the Heartless Faith just because I’m terrible at minmaxing

If I was going for irony I’d name myself Lachlan…

Talking abount names. There is amusing moment, if your God named the same way as Evil God of mermans…

I found it very amusing the scene where i throw Saul in the dungeons. The guy was obviously thinking he can boss the king around, he made a nice sacrifice to Shadi.

Can someone tell me how to get Vampire, Dragon rider, and Siren?

Totally agree. Every interaction with Jess is heartwarming (especially in LH3, it’s just full of emotion). She has a soft heart hidden beneath her hard shell.
Maybe we should make a new pact to worship Jess

One playhtrough where Jess is not my RO is more than enough for me. It’s too painful to see Jess having a romance with Pope  (even though I have to admit that their slow-paced romance is kinda sweet).

Well, got Druid of Decay. Level 3 Druid, 100 Evil

Try adding necromancy to that… lol.

Are you able to have a kid with Poppy? I heard you can romance her, but do you sleep together and if so does she get pregnant? Because if so, I found my next RO after Jess. Since I’m on the subject, same questions applies to Lacey. Would make future playthroughs fresh while going through the motions of experimenting with different builds. Here’s hoping.

You don’t have a kid in story with any of the ROs introduced in 3 but if you want to head-canon having a part demon baby with your RO after the story ends then you can join the rest of us in doing just that.

My strongest character.

He also has 100% arcana. The demon wings are just for the cool effect. And he has the ability to control demons.
