The Lost Heir Trilogy

The reason I chose religion is that you would need faith to allow yourself to be summoned against your logical thinking brain… you make a good case too but I still favor the religion stat; giving other classes a reason to put points into it and making it useful is also a good thing.

@AAO I laughed my demonic ass off at almost all of your recent posts on here. You have to stop, mate.

You’re too funny.

No, seriously.

Stop.

Please. I beg you!

I have mice children! Three of them! They’re blind! Please! Lucien have mercy!

The Puppet ending is way too easy to get. And the Hero ending seems to ignore a lot of things, how does the MC ages if they are a vampire or an archdruid? The Villain ending is also too short in my opinion. An epilogue for it would have been nice.

Okay, as I promised, Vampire Lord Evil Ending:

K’Girr opens the gate between its enormous hands once again. This time, the surge of demons flies directly at Zusak. The High Chancellor’s eyes go wide as he’s knocked over the edge screaming. The scream doesn’t last for very long, as he falls out of hearing to his death below.

You direct K’Girr to send its demons back under the fortress. The descent stops, and you soon have control over the flying fortress. Looking down, you see that all of the demons that had been attacking Brightwater are now looking up at you. Through K’Girr, you have control over all of them.

The tears in reality begin to grow even larger as more and more demons cross through the veil. You can feel the power from the Demon Realm altering your very soul. You realize that you can change yourself however you please, but unlike before, you have no limits. Your humanity might be lost, but using the power from this side of the veil means that you’re able to keep your mind.

You call out to your vampiric children. With both demonic and vampiric blood, you have become the greatest evil the land has ever known. Zusak had been a tyrant and a villain, but he was nothing compared to you.

You look down upon Brightwater. Your companions will make excellent henchmen. Selina turned Karla against you, making her the Red Archer. Similarly, you can turn everyone into stronger versions of themselves so that they can serve you better. With Petra ruling at your side as your dark Queen, you will have many faithful associates. The continual power of the Demon Realm means that you’ll never age. You will have the choice as to whether you wish to let Brand rule alone or at your side. Perhaps a hero will someday rise and destroy you, but until that time comes, you will rule with near-divine might.

An evil smile slowly spreads across your face as you appreciate the full extent of your power. Daria will come to fear and cower before Harus, the Demon King of Daria.

I also “returned” Karla by my side, making her undead

I must say, I enjoy all my current MCs.

First was Assassin(level 1), who learned to use any tool he has availible to succeed. This led him to study Arcana as Priest(level 1), spend time learning about his Demonstones, and finally becoming dedicated master of Arcane Tattoo(level 2).

Next, we have classic hardcore Wizard(level 2), who also tapped alot fom Planewalkers(up to Iron-willed Demonsummoner trait). Finally, he became life-long partner of Jess, his love, through Catalyst bond.

Third. Monk(level 2), who fallen into slippery path oh Thug(level 2) and was affected by Mazrim potion. This eventually lead him into becoming Berserker.

And now we have Harus, who walked long path from sage and evil priest of Shadi, to powerful Necromancer, to demonic vampire overlord.

Hold up.

I just thought of something that really makes my head hurt.

That noble faggot, the one that jacks up the prices of everything and then sells them to you at outrageous sums.

They do realize that the people they’re selling it to are the people that are trying to STOP the demons, right? They do realize that, in the end, those large amounts of money they got won’t mean jack shit when the demons are ripping them apart?

And we’re supposed to believe they’re smart?

There really should have been a choice that calls them out for their blatant stupidity.

After having slept on it, I’ve decided that I will remove the choice to not get pulled and to get talked to death by Zusak entirely.

Steam is nice, since it shows Achievements. 30% failed to heed the warnings. I felt that I was giving players autonomy and choice. I also thought that there were plenty of warnings, but now I see that perhaps players thought that that the warnings were tricks.

If I remove that 30%, then the Puppet Ending is much more manageable.

Does anyone have basic tips for a ‘good’ ending? Ie one where you aren’t demonic and don’t get the puppet ending either? Initially I thought I was just being too specific with my skills but have tried to branch out this time and still don’t seem to be getting anywhere positive. Am I missing something obvious? Is there a choice you HAVE to make in order to get a good ending that I might not be opting for?

Until the update goes through, make sure you do NOT ignore the pull from your summoner and make sure that you don’t let Zusak talk too much and distract you from saving your summoner.

Fab. Thanks! Looking forward to the update too. Will it be pushed to iOS too?

First off, I love this game series. It’s so much fun. I’ve been playing through with different builds. So far I’ve been able to get the good ending with a priest/wizard hybrid who ended up a luck mage and with a dragon knight.

Anyway, any chance I could get a link to the guide?

Thanks

Becoming part demon is part of the story, there is no way to prevent it.

@Lucid not done with TLH3 but it’s amazing. I have a life to attend to! Stop making it difficult for me.

Thank you for confirming. That’s actually very helpful and means I don’t have to battle against it lol.

Partially.

Spoiler: Watch your humanity! If it goes too low, bad things happen.

And yes, when the update releases, it will go to all markets include iOS.

There is a choice like that. It’s the I’m king BITCH get in mah dungeon!!! From there you can leave them there to rot or kill their sorry behind publicly or secretly to show their stupidity or just let them go. That route I don’t think I paid anything at all for the sails by letting them go.

Finally got the hero & martyr ending.
I hope there’s an epilogue in every ending though. Especially martyr ending, it will be really touching to know what happened to the other NPC after MC’s death.

I Really really love this series, kinda sad that it really ended. I want to see more of Jess Solway (yes, I’m Jess freak ).
I Really hope there’s a continuation to this, with the same universe but with different MC (like heroes rise trilogy and hero project:redemption season).

I really, really, really… enjoyed this series.
Mostly due to the fact it had my 2 favorite things. Variety of options and massive variety of classes.
( In reality just love Evil, Necromancy, and Vampirism <3 )

(Minor spoilers ahead turn back now)

But anyways to the point, this may be far too early. Though to any huge fans like myself, what would you like to see from here on out? It seems like the story is over at the end, it is faintly open ended depending on if you live though it.

If the author continues the series where could it go?
What possibly could be done from here?

Let me know your thoughts.

I’ll share mine to start so no one feels shy about anything they may inquire or just write.

(Background):
Well depending on the ending you are alive and practically an all powerful immortal (class) demon, so what can you do from here? It would seem nothing can stand in your way, your stats are rather high.

Two options, have some freak accident happen where your characters stats are halved and you go and fight a new threat.

Or…OR… better yet…

(Idea):
A bit of poetic humor? Say you play as the child of your character? Either as the actual child or if different gender from the Bk 3 then an adopted one. As a result you don’t have unlimited power like the parent; rather can inherit their prestige classes and or traits. Vampirism, Rune knight, or otherwise.

It would allow players to further develop and keep their classes if they wish to do so, and be within reason. Raised by a Necromancer or Dragon Rider odds are you learned the skill, had vampire blood and your parents a vampire, become a vampire lord; or inherit mounts and/or items, etc.

Though continuity aside where could the story go from here? What great Evil/Good or neither could pose a threat to your characters father/mother an all powerful daemon king/queen? Well it is mentioned the divine realm is like the daemon realm, so it would be within reason a god would oppose, destroy, or try to rebalance the world. That could be what the new heir could possibly try and stop/help/otherwise.

Just my thoughts, i really would like to read anyone else’s.

(After thought and/or suggestion):
Though if there is another series in the same universe as heir by the author, I could only ask a few things to add onto the story.
(A bit of a guilty thought since so much work when into the series and I could only dream of writing a choice script code even a fraction as detailed, xD i’d give a limb to see how it was coded. Thus well earned Iproperty rights.)

  1. It would be nice if their was either a generic companion related to each class, like a Brinn or Pope rather than just a beneficial follower like the wraith or the class based special mount. Which don’t get me wrong is nice, but a bit of a given. Or at least a varied list of follower options in a class, the necromancer was stuck with a wraith. Though a zombie, skeleton warrior, vampire or other undead creature would be nice as well. Just for flavor really. Same with the dragon rider, different types of dragons,

(Post Script):

(What can I say? I’m one of those guys in skyrim who spends hours on his character and then mods to get an outfit or outfits to make the perfect companions.)

(Though yes, i do realize such a thing would be a massive undertaking, might as well let the player write in the companion and their personality.)

(Might not be a bad idea ey? Using an advanced version of the player character creation on a companion?)

(The player could practically write their companion into the story rather than needing to create a ton of new characters, just leave a few events, romances, appearence, personality, and other actions with write-ins for the companion with generic suggestions as the option with what (name) is going to generally do in negative or positive actions with -stat or +stat and the player fills in the additional details during the story. As such…

O (stab the monster with your blade)
O (duck the flames)
O (run)
:black_circle: (You spot $[name] ready to strike)

[next] $[name] does (stat damage or healing, in the event of companion killing or knocking out (finishing blow) a creature make a hint like (goes to take (creatures) life, goes to strike… in the head (normal combat text RP stuff without godmoding.)
(Then fill in details))

(Haha, just though of that last minute wasn’t even suppose to be a part of this, let me know if you like it and I might add the variables it into my own choice script IF novel i’m working on.)

Lol excuse me for getting way off topic; but anyways let me know what you think and your own thoughts. I’ll get to every reply and respond or read over it as soon as possible. (Tight schedule, so sorry in advance for any delays it’s 3:30 in the morning good night all.)

@Necromancer
Corrected the typo in the title for you.

Appreciated, haha, guess i shouldn’t have wrote it so early in the morning.

Just a slight suggestion.

Summary

When donating money to people before signing your Will, shouldn’t donating money to the army give a relation ship bonus to General Vale, like how donating to the treasury gives a relationship bonus with Lord Tovor.
