The Lost Heir Trilogy

Not me. Though now that I think about it, I am far from surprised!

Just curious, will there be a recap on the choices you made in the previous books?

Honestly kind of happy that LO3 comes out on Friday. Means I can play it all weekend.

Im pretty sure thats a thing all COG sequels do. Lh2 Did it, Samurai of Hyuga 2 did it, The hero trilogy and versus also did it, so yeah. Theres a good chance.

Just trying my evil-priest path with Petra as my RO.
I love it that my evil choices could slowly corrupt her(the honorable-righteous-cleric-girl :smiling_imp:).
Once again, this game is truly insane. Couldn’t stop to amaze me. Every choices could give a great impact in the story. I need more playthrough now!!!

A couple of question:

  1. What’s the function of hammer and spikes in the equipment shop?
  2. Is it possible to defeat Thuja with a pure magic build (without bow, dagger or blade)? I’ve tried a lot of choice combination but I always failed.

  1. You could use them to block kobold’s tunnel. So can’t really recomend them if you want to get artifact.
  2. Yep, it’s possible. I can’t remember details, but my pure mage character(with scribe jobe at Elmvale, and one Mage class, gotten in Ludd) managed to kill him.
That was his stats at the end of first game.

Dammit Google! Why are you behind Apple this time?

I was scrolling through all the comments and noticed someone’s comment including pregnancy. The Lost Heir trilogy is by far the best CYOA game I’ve played, it’s just PERFECT! I loved the way pregnancy was handled in The Lost Heir 2. But someone apparently isn’t satisfied with this PERFECT game and suggested something like magical birth control. MAGICAL BIRTH CONTROL? Really? That’s sounds not only ridiculous but it would also ruin the fun of this game. Just because magic exists doesn’t mean everythings possible with it. The game is just freaking amazing the way it is! If you don’t want to get pregnant just don’t have sex. If you want to have sex that much then there’s Steffany and Suno in Part 1. That way you won’t get pregnant I believe. But stuff like magical birth control just doesn’t feel right plus the some of the fun would be ruined.
Anyway, I just had to drop a comment after that stuff. People don’t want to see their favorite games getting ruined with weird additions like magical birth control.

Congrats on the final release, @Lucid! Just grabbed it on the Apple app store.

Can you please not dredge up this argument yet again?

@Lucid

So I’m playing through the game and enjoying it, but a repeating issue involves Amos’ pronouns. During a scene involving finding him in Thea’s room, his pronouns change to female pronouns and remain that way for the remainder of the game. I wouldn’t have a problem with this, except I named him after Amos. So I’m seeing things like ““What kind of woman do you think Amos will grow up to be?””

It’s a jarring issue, but nothing came breaking.

I have to say, you are really good at estimating things @Lucid, I say this because I remember back when you had the beta open for new testers that you were aiming towards March to release, and what do ya know? It’s March, and I see information of it coming out tomorrow. Time to make a character that I wanna play in the third LH, good work!
