It’s not the number of saved games. I have around 460 last I checked. So it’s something else causing the problem with your game.

Created this account because I have a question. Can anyone tell me how to get a squire? I’ve been trying for a few sessions and I’m no closer to getting one it seems. If it’s detailed in the guide I’d appreciate an invite.

To get a squire, you must have a level of squire from the first game, become a knight early in the second game, and then you’ll acquire a squire while gathering the demi humans for your army unless you deliberately choose not to get one.

I’ve done that, but the squire option never shows up. Do you have to be good? Only ever played evil characters.
Nope, you get a squire with a dark knight build the same as with a regular knight build. It’s automatic if you have a level of knight. It’ll give you the choice between 4 people to train as your squire: a dumb but strong and well meaning peasant boy, a compassionate daughter of merchants, an old ex-priest that got drummed out of his order, and a daughter of nobles that’s interested in knighthood for power. There is literally no way to avoid this choice if you get knighted early on in TLH2. You do have the option to not pick any of them and not have a squire when this choice comes up, though.
