But if you use necromancy,Cumari will start getting butthurt and such.
I guess you could just ignore him and do it anyway.

I never understood necromancer = evil. Unless they’re eating/using souls.
Unless you’re resurrecting Cumari himself!
I do remember people having a certain fondness towards the Necromancy prestige class, even though most of them picked playing as a good person.
I wonder…what would it be like to be a Necromancer with good morals?Maybe you legitimately want to help people with your undead magic. And think of the mental and emotional stress they’d be put through,as they furiously try to balance being a good person and practicing their magic at the expense of others.
That would certainly be interesting.
I wonder how good we could go with it? I doubt we will bring back the dead… actually maybe think a priest would do that or a necromancer ight be able to bring people back with undead bodies.
On the note of evil my guy is going for double immortality, druid vampire. Plus wherever else my choices may take me.
The body is sacred to most religions to house the “soul”; taking a body of another and using it for your own purposes is against the body’s original purpose.
I finished it!
I finished the rough draft. 220k words. It’s going to take me a few weeks to proofread it before I can start the beta test. Might be ready for testing by November. Woo hoo!
Perfect timing too. Great news.
Grinds Teeth
I want to read it.
For me I’m looking forward to my marriage to Karla and giving birth to my daughter
…And of course instilling peace throughout the land ![]()
Pfff… "Peace"it’s not good until it’s super peace no chaos. Complete Order, Complete Control.
Also didn’t we spend a year about in captivity right? The kid should be born by three right?
well I just cheat my way through the game after some playthroughs and man I saw sooo much more content when I made my stats all to 100 so everyone loves me and I am an avatar of power no matter what I do (expect when I make a bad decision and screw it up )
And where exactly is the fun in that?
What’s the point of just cheating your way through the game when you could try to make an OP character yourself?
He’ll, if you’re too lazy to even try, there’s a guide on this form AND over at Youtube.
I’ll never understand people who just cheat through everything.
Agreed.
My first character was utterly imperfect adventurer, who’s only redeeming points was his good character, silver tongue and nice Perception/Agility. Yet, he managed to overcome all challenges of first and second books(from perfect sheep guarding up to successful Tornassa siege) and it was helluva fun to play him!
His classes was Bard lvl 1, Thief lvl 1, Sage lvl 1 and… oh yes, at the end he became demon summoner. But since he missed 10 Willpower points at the start of first book, i can’t call him really dedicated demon user…
Cause they enjoy it? Maybe I’m just old and cranky but I remember when games came with cheat codes and they were a blast.
It doesn’t affect anyone else, so it’s not a moral issue. Let cheaters have fun how they want to.
I agree. Let cheaters do what they want, if that’s what they enjoy. I wouldn’t care for it because a big part of the enjoyment for me with these games is seeing what different ways you can squeeze and manipulate various builds to end up with different, awesome characters by the end. And that’s why I’d really like about that 10 point across the board bonus bought add on that Lucid has tossed around the idea of one day adding to the first game (and I really hope he does), but one that just maxed out all stats would not.
But people enjoy different things. If someone enjoys playing through the game with a superpowered juggernaut, more power to them. It’s not hurting my fun. More power to them if they do that. Trying to look down on them for that just reeks of elitism and bullying to me. I’d like to think most people are better than that.
Loved both games @Lucid, looking foward for TLH3! Btw, can someone link me to The famous “guide” here in The fórum? Really appreciate that
Welcome to the Cult of Neo.
What do you think the Worst possible ending? Fail to reunite Daria and fail to thwart Zusak’s Demon War and fail to reclaim your birthright? I mean a broken Daria probably has the slimmest chances of repelling the demon threat.
Also do you think the story will remain the same as it has been: about a lost heir trying to reclaim their throne? Or with the stakes raised higher than ever before, could the MC now be fighting for something far bigger than themselves? (assuming your MC is that heroic to begin with…)
My boy Harian where you been
