This is awsome I just went two class periods playing this (with permission ) keep going
@Drazen so this 17 years old is realistic?? ? O-O O-0 . I replay this two times and i dont find a drop of realism on it , In my second play at least i got a 8 years old level but is childish , it’s well written and really curious of read a oblivious figure of all i hate in a feminine portrait now only left she is obsessed with aesthetic surgery and being a cheerleader
@MaraJade Realistic in a wise-cracking colonial TV-show from the 90’s sort of way.
@MaraJade This is supposed to be a parody.
Well i hope so but is written in a way look to serius to be a parody. I want read the male path to vengance all the virtual novels persona style when guy is ultra perfect and women are totally cards to collect when are ready to launch over him.
Really that could be cool CS collection of pc conquest like carts or stuffed animals and if u get all you find a awesome ending when pc learn open doors ( joke )
@MaraJade I have no idea how you managed to find anything in this game to be written seriously.
@Dseg Its only i dont understand english humor only XIX sarcasm , but even monty pitton is hard sometimes for me, lol so i just never capt when is seriusly or not. I need a context hint or a laugh in off like in sit coms.
@CS_Closet I’m in favour of doing like what Choice of Romance did. Allow the option to play as a male PC. Make absolutely no changes though in regards to gender, just switch pronouns. I think it would be fun and sure it’ll be flipping a few genre tropes but that’s not that bad a thing.
It’s clear we’re not actually playing as ourselves, but instead as XXX Alix with some things already set out.
Saying that though, if you feel the protagonist is female and won’t work for a male character just stick with it.
Lolz I like the being male idea but I could go either way lolz I absolutely love the game though my only problem so far is a couple spelling errors but that’s it so I’m keeping an eye on this
[You’re about to revisit the rooms, when something to catches your eye.] To what? To the left? To the right?
[“Actually, I"m a Demon Hunter’s Assistant,”] “I"m” should be “I’m”.
[I make sure no one’s watching before holding burger out to the dog. “Don’t tell anyone about this, okay?”] There should be a “the” or “my” in front of “burger”.
[Poor thing. I unwrap the rest of the burger and places on ground] There should be a period after and the word “the” before “ground”. Also, you should switch the word “places” with “place it”.
[You look at the dog tying to think of a name.] There should be a comma after “dog” and the word “tying” should be “trying”.
[I’m still not so sure this whole “werewolf in the house” thing is such a good idea. I leave Sky down here and go talk privately to Kiel.] The MC’s name should be replaced with Kett/the dog’s name.
[But, alas, you move one crate in the stack, they all move.] You might want to add either “when” or “once” before “you” in this sentence.
[“Since we were kids, yeah,” you explain, “but not always”] A period should be after the word “always”.
["Nevermind. We’ll sort that out later. No time right now. “Mephier, Zephyr. Watch Sky.”] Get rid of the quotation mark before “Mephier”.
[“What are you talking about?” he demand.] “Demand” should be “demands”.
[“Uh…,” you follow behind, hoping he knows what he’s doing,] “Uh…,” should be “Uh…”
[“That would be accurate. Yes.” you reply.] Switch the period after “yes” with a comma.
[Looking further up you the feeling your little outing is about to get ten times worse.] There should be a comma after “up” and add a “get” after the word “you”.
…annnnd I’m going to stop right now ahaha. I’ll see if I can find any more errors later today. c:
I LOVE this game! My favorite right now is the gatekeeper. I’m in favor of keeping a female only role, not because I am female but I just couldn’t picture this PC as a guy. But I suppose it wouldn’t bother me either way, so just do whatever you want. I cannot wait for more!
Dearest person who created this game,
This is a fantastic and hilarious spoof of every single supernatural show i’ve ever had the pleasure of coming across, maintaining its novelty with its own twist to the common myths and legends.
That said, i eagerly await the opportunity to play as male, please and thank you!
And i wholly and gleefully agree with FairyGodFeather on its gaming aspect. I’m not sure anyone is the proper authority of femininity and masculinity anyway.
Either way, thank you for creating such an enjoyable game and good luck on your future endeavours
Oh man, this was hilarious. I love all of the characters, especially the Gate Keeper and Mephier. Like hell I was going to go near that gate Mr. Mcreepy.
On my first playthrough Kiel was rubbing me the wrong way, there was something off about him and I felt like I shouldn’t trust him, still kinda do but it’s lessened now after the demon hunter reveal.
I really want to play as a male, with all the same romance options. Maybe just switch the female pronouns and change some of the dialogue and inner thoughts slightly? So we have a not very masculine, kinda teenage girly male option?
But anyway, thank you for making such a hilarious game and I hope you manage to finish this game, as already from the start I have high hopes for it.
Thanks for the insight on the PC gender choice option, everyone. I’m going to temporarily add the option for now, and see how it goes. I can understand how the inclusion would seem forced to some and cause problems with implied expectations from choosing the male PC option, but it’s not much of a bother for me to put it in compared to the hassle of players having to change things around in their heads to accommodate their preferences.
If it ends up being too much of a detriment or requiring too many major changes, I’ll take it out. But there’s not much lost in giving the idea a chance.
@MaraJade
But you can collect conquest cards in Persona 3 Portable with the female main character. Just not nearly as many.
And comedy is very different in English and Spanish, so it doesn’t often translate well.
@FairyGodfeather
To be honest, I don’t really feel like there’s any reason that the protagonist wouldn’t work as a male character. But I also recognize that my ideas on gender are rather skewed compared to most other people’s ideas, so I’m more concerned with what the audience’s opinion is.
@Munchlax
Awesome~
You’re good at this. I’ll have those fixed next update.
@Larsielle
You’re most welcome. Out of curiosity, what supernatural shows have you watched? I’ve caught some episodes of Buffy, Supernatural, and The Vampire Diaries, but having a larger pool of tropes to play with wouldn’t hurt.
@Monochrome
That’s actually an opinion of Kiel that I didn’t expect to hear. Not saying that there’s anything wrong with it - it’s just another perspective that I can take into account while I’m expanding the options. Also, any specific inner thoughts and dialogue that you can see needing a change? I know Necroay will have to think of a new nickname for the male PC, but any other recommendations?
This! All of this! It was extremely fun to read!
I’m currently suffering from a major coffee induced headache so I’m keeping it brief and don’t have much to add but it was genuinely hilarious and all of the characters (including the protagonist. She’s a character alright!) are extremely endearing!
Keep up the great work!
@CS_Closet
Nothing really stands out too much, maybe some of the wording in why he’s/she’s rebelling (complaining that he’s not a girl and the like.). Some changes with Reeses’ overprotectiveness, nothing major, but maybe a reasoning, or just saying that he’s always treated you like you were a girl that couldn’t protect yourself.
The reason why I had that option of Kiel was because he was just a touch too calm, too helpful (your fall down the stairs) and the way you described his eyes made me have the vibes that I should trust him as far as I could throw him. Cordial yes, but he’s one of the characters that seemed the most likely to turn on me. I’m just a touch paranoid aren’t I?
Necroay could still call the MC princess, remarking that our MC looks remarkably like a girl after closer inspection. :-"
I strongly resent the idea that Reese will be more protective of a little sister, as if only girls need protection. That is pretty blatant stereotyping, as there is no reason a guy would be more fit to fight against the supernatural than a girl. Little brothers get just as coddled as little sisters, and so there would be no reason for the MC to feel their precious manly ego is comprised.
Those sort of remarks are kind of obnoxious, anyway (‘I can do it, I’m not simpering girly’).
I could see some wording in the dialogue changing (guys tend to be less peppy, although this looks to me more like a ‘stoic macho’ stereotype than natural tendency), but I don’t see why a teenage boy would be less childish and spiteful than a girl. Plate smashing and troublemakers flirting are not gender-specific actions.
I’m not saying he’ll be more protective of a little sister, but our MC’s a teenage boy so he’ll be grumbling atleast a little bit about his male ego and how he can protect himself. A girl can do just the same (Except the apart about the male ego, maybe her precious female ego?).
Gah, rereading my post I can see where you are coming from, but I was more thinking about how a teenage boy might complain if he was being shown such overprotectiveness. I really didn’t word it too good, the word girl in the Reese overprotectiveness part can be substituted by child or kid, I was just didn’t really think it through in what it would sound like if someone read it. I’m normally a full-time lurker so I’m not too practicedin writing posts and getting my point across without offending anyone, I’ll have to improve that for next time.
Plate smashing and flirting aren’t gender-specific actions, and everyone should continue plate smashing and flirting.
The latest post shows how people tend to stereotypes. A girl with 17 could be stupid selfish and childish and all of you love it imagine a manga girl with sailor uniform ready and able to fight whatever with her stupidity but is enough pretty to attract a men vampire ninja or whatever to protect there because only function or girls is be pretty and sexual ready to their alfa men.
Then we change gender and only with that all of you saying is same girl or boy start , with the yelling a boy couldnt be so childish so acept their brother supperiority i mean I A MAN, HE has to be more intelligent more… BECAUSE IS A MAN CHARACTER.
I’m not going against this game or anyone, im commenting this to proof how terrible machism Otome gender is.
knowing now this is a parody of this genre i ask to doing more obvious the topic of genre and treat this like a real Otome with breast cheast messurements like stats and if you get fat everyone hate you a make-up one and a have to fake being intelligent to flirt . there are otome games with all details im suggesting but in serious way.
So guys boys couldn’t be same as that girl right ejem it’s not cool seem your gender degrading each moment right?
Updated with fixed typos and a PC gender option.

If I decide to keep the PC gender an option, I’ll work it in to the story more organically. For now, it’s at the beginning where it’s presence or absence won’t do too much damage. So far it’s mostly a basic variable swap, so let me know if something sounds ridiculously off on the male PC playthrough.
@Nao
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
@Monochrome
I get what your point was, so no worries. Offense was obviously not intended. I’m fairly awful at getting my intended point across as well, and end up scrutinizing over a single post for hours before I click the “post comment” button.
If I need to expand on any options, I’d rather have the added choice available for both genders, though. No reason why it shouldn’t be. Reese’s overprotectiveness still applies whether male, female, or 600 lb gorilla, but the PC doesn’t have to be happy about it.
@MaraJade
Never play “Girlish Love Revolution”, then. The entire game is about losing weight to appeal to guys that mostly ignore the PC or treat her like dirt otherwise. #-o
