Meanwhile, I kinda want some cop vs criminal Halloween roleplay between my Sherlock and Lestrade? Or maybe I just want an excuse to play with handcuffs. 
But having Lestrade in a cop uniform seems redundant with him being a detective already.
Of course, the best way to get Sherlock’s attention at a Halloween Party is to dress up as an unsolved murder case.
