I have just submitted Temple of Endless Night to Hosted Games!
The final wordcount managed to pass the 200k mark, which makes me both very surprised and incredibly happy.

Dang, I caught this too late. I was gonna ask why Isis wasn’t a deity choice? Is she not actually that important at this time? I might be overinflating her relevance due to the spread of her cult in hellenistic times. Too late to add her now, but I am still curious.

How do I meet Menkaure?
This question has been answered before - both in this thread and on my Tumblr - so I will simply copy and paste one of the earlier messages. I’m pretty sure nothing has changed since then in terms of stat requirements.

Menkaure is the secret romance of the game because he can’t be romanced or even met by most classes. Your character needs to be very well educated to be able to translate the inscriptions you notice in Chapter 1.
You need 20+ education to be able to notice the inscriptions when you enter the cave for the first time.
A bit later, when you can choose what you want to do before you go to sleep, you need to pick the “I want to study those weird symbols (…)” option.
If you do both those things, you’ll be able to translate the symbols as long as you have these stats: education>=30, knowledge of netjeru>=26, willpower>=40 . This should make Menkaure come to you in a dream.
In short, when you consider these stats, you realize that only scholars, priests, singers and alchemists can romance Menkaure.

Came here to tell you that Temple of Endless Night is about to be released. At the moment, the release is planned for tomorrow – November 11.
I asked the moderators to reopen this thread in case there are any questions or remarks, so feel free to use it!

Indeed. I actually wrote to Hosted Games last night and asked about the release, but I’m still waiting for their reply. I think we just have to be patient. These things can happen. There might have been a delay or something. Perhaps a technical issue?
