Look, I have my criticisms of the game, but that’s your problem with it? Seriously?

Vivian is ā€œwhiteā€ in that he is translucent but, judging by the rest of his family it seems unlikely that he is white in the way that poster means, lol. I dont think you get that detailed of a description of what he looks like if you revive him at the end.

Natalia’s also adopted.

But in general I think this person’s comment is a ā€œflag and move onā€ situation.

I just checked, and his descriptionafter being revived is ā€œvery fair, but with more color than beforeā€ so it seems you are correct.

Maybe you should think about writing a series? i always love the characters and Worldbuilding and lore in your games and kinda wish it was more explore, like going in different place in that world or something. But this is just my opinion and i will still play anything your write so looking forward to your next book.

Thank you, I’m really glad you’ve enjoyed the games! I’m generally not planning on sequels for any of my games - I think they’re really hard to do in ChoiceScript games when you aren’t planning on them from the beginning, because it’s hard to strike a balance of having choices that matter in the first game while not creating enough branches and complications that future games become unmanageable to write. My games haven’t been designed with sequels in mind, and there’s enough going on in them that I think it would be difficult to account for everything in a sequel. So I don’t think I’d ever do one unless I had an idea for a series from the start, but we’ll see what happens!

Yeah, a sequel to Stars Arisen would be a really tall order. But I’m sure I’m not the only one who fell in love as much with the setting as with the plot and characters, and I’d love to see another story set in the same world. Depending on when and where it took place, it could even serve as a semi-sequel like Royal Affairs, with allusions and subplots that reflect the different possible outcomes of Stars Arisen.

That said, I’ll also be happy with whatever you do next, whether it means I get to explore new aspects of a setting I’ve enjoyed, or watch you create something new that’s equally complex and fascinating.

There were some hints at what was going on in other countries during Stars. It might be interesting to see more of that, and have some references to what is going on in Kelestri based on the ending.

Maybe the protagonist could be Baz’s real nibling. :joy:

I know essentially nothing more than what’s referenced in the game about what’s going on in other countries, but I’m pleased to hear it if it sounds like I do. :joy:

My next game is already in progress and has nothing to do with either previous one, but I’m not ruling anything out for the future!

Baz’s nibling discovers the Tieri trade ambassador’s secret plan to take over the world by getting everyone hooked on coffee. ā€œDamn,ā€ says the Sorceress (if she’s alive), watching the Assembly fall to their knees in the throes of caffeine withdrawals, begging for relief, ā€œI wish I’d thought of that.ā€

… okay, maybe not.

Does anyone know what the latest patch is about? Is it just technical fixes, or has any story content been added?

If they didn’t make an announcement of it, I’d assume it’s just technical fixes.
