I have two different MC’s with two different backgrounds and I based what part they tried out for based on personality my chick MC is professional and cutthroat so I picked the spouse for her to try out for my guy MC is the opposite of that so I had him try out for the mayor and they both got the part what if personality has something to do with it?

Yeah, I’m invested! I noticed “indie vs blockbuster” in the stat block, so I’m sure there will be other opportunities in the pipeline for very different projects and this could be the first step towards one side or the other. Beyond simply having limited time for projects, the more you’re known for one type of film or genre might limit your ability to jump to the other later in your career (unless you have enough talent to pull it off perhaps).
I’m really curious to see how much of the story is the MC on set, and what, if anything, the MC’s choices affect.

I auditioned for the priest, picked method acting, non-child actor, and incorporated all of Lex’s criticism, and I still didn’t get the role.

I did method acting, child actor, and incorporated Lexs advice while adding a little bit of your own spin on things and I got the role for the priest. I thought it was dependent on personality.

How exactly can I get the role as the ex spouse? I actually love these kind of roles but I thought the cutthroat stat would help but I didn’t get it

I honestly think the audition is just dependent on the talent stat, do you remember what yours was at?
Right now, no. But I can try to recreate my original run tomorrow and let you know but I do know the cutthroat stat was my highest one

I absolutely loved this! I love acting, so it was very fun. The characters are all really good, and I can’t wait to romance them

Though I will say I’m disappointed that Kendall isn’t romancable. He’s one of my favorite characters in this. I wonder what went into that decision?

Love the content so far! My MC cannot get the role though i tried three times so i’m gonna stick on the “jobless” route for now (sorry MC). hope this route in chapter 2 would be fun as well and won’t block MC from achiving a great career in the end.

Oh yeah Sutton I kinda forgot about her. She a good romance too. Like with her I feel you might get that paparazzi darling feel. Like they love her but they overwhelm her so you have to protect her a lot as rumors of you start to spread.
My MC and her had a pretty good time together as friends when little because I did the actor route so I think I’m a positive in her life

Dunno if this is a bug or not but the choice of what kind of face you have has both the handsome and blank slate face increase charisma where as I imagine the blank slate face would bump up elusive.
Edit: Also, another thing that I dunno if it’s a bug or not but accepting the money does increase cutthroat but not accepting doesn’t increase virtuous.

Might be a typo, but during the Carlo/Carmen identity reveal near the end, even if they are a female their title is still presented as Prince instead of Princess.

Ooooh, i like this concept. I feel like there’s only one other title that does “Hollywood”, but it wasnt in modern days. And it was more leaned towards Hollywood as a whole? Maybe? I dont really remember.
But, now we get one where we’ll get to be the actor who seems to be getting the start of their career? Potential Scandals and different genres to star in? Sign me up.
