Just a thought, but perhaps the teleportation could also be limited to symbols like the ones used by Naruto’s father
@akio619 Hmm…ok so let me get the technique straight. There are symbols bound to two items…wherever those items are…he’s capable of teleporting to them right?
Like the flying raijin? (Minatos teleportation move in naruto)
He basically had symbols on some kunai allowing him to teleport to anything that had the symbol on it.
He could even put the symbol on people.
Yeah. Something like that definitely would be useful in any situation.
There is one thing that might make it a tad overpowered.
Basically if he has sufficient energy he could put the seal on a large amount of objects.
And also the seals degrade at a rate of never so they last as long as you don’t undo the seal.
Haha yea that’s a problem =p
Nobody said that you can’t manipulate those rules to make them work in your story
They barely used handsigns by the end of Naruto…
The strongest people in the naruto verse never use handsigns the kage don’t because they are ultra powerful naruto doesn’t because he sticks to rasengan which doesnt use handsigns clones which use one hand sign and demon fox power.
Same for all the other jinchuriki about not using hand signs because demon power. Kakashi still uses some hand signs but he mostly uses chidori weapons and sharingan so yea everyone has some sort of fighting style that completely avoids hand signs.
Because all of them has some sort of clan, skill, or trait that lets them avoid the time wasting handsigns.
Well a bit more realism than what’s seen in the narutoverse would help (as well as continuity). I mean Naruto can take a boulder crushing punch and be fine, but just as he opens a book he gets an ominous paper cut.
Yea that makes no sense.
As someone who doesn’t regularly fight zombie ninjas demons monsters and such I can say with a 100% certainty that I have never gotten a paper cut and I am a massive bookworm.
@akio619
Eh, realism is usually not a priority in anime, they always seem to follow the Rule of Cool.
I have some sort of idea.
What about a blindness spell.
It temporarily blinds people
And maybe a spell that turns our blood into a kinda acidic poison for a couple of minutes.
@faewkless
Turning your blood into poison?
I feel like that could backfire horribly xD
About the blindness spell… Perhaps a very bright light like a camera flash?
So cool that every protagonist gets a harem
A flash could work for blinding people like ballmot said. As for the poison blood, acidic properties could help a person break/sneak into place. Maybe even act as a counter attack if any blood gets on an assailant.
So it’s not normal for poison blood?
I am always for silent killing so cutting organs without a trace?
So some sort of blood eating spell.
(Maybe we can then store it for black magic)
A squits spell, makes you need to go bad, useful for getting foes alone…
Maybe …
Umm…
I know, a spell that makes people speak in rymlics!
I was considering the idea of blindness spell but it does have the same effect as darkness so I was questionable about that.
As much as the idea goes I’ll be sticking with realism rather then the rule of cool.
There was an original art to release uncontrollable gas…
I was thinking of a laceration spell mainly for doctors…to be able to alter their essence into thin knife like motions to make precise cuts, organ cuts if you like…yea.
I can picture how a witness being compelled into speaking a random laguage would be useful. Imagine being in court and it’s time for their testimony…
@akio619 can u explain more on the poison blood?
