Can we please drop this ? There is literally no point in this discussion when some will never give up their ‘Thought Police’ attitude regarding some subjects. It just gets repetitive, and a pain to read for others.

Out of curiosity are asking what is English grammar, or saying the reason for editing. One of those makes more sense, though if you have a couple thousand hours of free time I could explain english grammar…on second thought mine sucks.
But you don’t have to put that if you edit.

About Masami/Masashi:
Her/His age, like MC’s, is left deliberately vague. I will only specify ages when/if it becomes important to the plot. There will be no intimate scenes with non-adult characters. Since Masami/Masashi is depicted as younger, this means no intimate scenes unless there is a timeskip in the story.
But I think what most Masa fans want is romance, not intimacy. So to imply that fans wanting the “Masa Route” = they’re some sort of child predator is wrong. Keep that in mind in any discussion going forward.

Fair enough, I admit it was a personal topic. I personally don’t see the difference with romance and intimate in this scenario, however I will respect Samurai Jesus’s wishes and lighten up.
At least your input will help things die down.

Wait now I’m curious did you plan on a time skip, or are you still deciding. You have a curious way or wording things sometimes…
Uh dunno about age but I don’t see any romance happening as long as Masami/shi keeps acting as a whiny kid because… you know a person who cries at any given opportunity and ends up covered in snot WHILE having a child-like appearance is a major turn off.

I don’t see the ronin romantically interested in Masa in any way… Masa has a huge crush, of course, but the ronin sees him/her as a child to protect, and that’s it. At least until now.

Yeah, she’s too delicate, too thin as well. I imagine the female ronin to be taller than the female media and quite muscular, and certainly not moving so graciously. That woman reminds me of Momoko. That is not to say that Fem!MC is not beautiful. As Jun said in one of his chapters, he heard that some people said she was beautiful in a wild way, or something like that. The one thing I can picture is her hair: long and always a mess. Also, brown, not black.

I was referring more to the similarities of their mindset. Especially from what we’ve seen in Book 3. They are both trained to be killers, and had few moments of true happiness and even fewer moments of innocence in their lives. Both are also longing for redemption, Lady Snowblood is just more refined and poetic about it.

What are people’s thoughts on Masa’s sister?
Theories, head-cannons, anything they’d like to see or be explored with that character?
Now, I realize we know next to nothing about her, and the fact that she’ll (probably) be by the Emperor’s side while we mostly go around Hyuga doing our own stuff might mean we don’t get to interact with her all that much. But I still think she could turn out to be a really interesting character, not only in her own right, but also for the possible changes/conflicts she could bring to the dynamics between our ‘main cast’.
I mean, just thinking about how and why she came about being the Emperor’s (future) wife has interesting implications.
Was she pushed into it by a power-hungry family? Was she pressured by a societal expectation that if the Emperor ‘chooses’ you then “that’s that, you’re marrying him”?
How would that sort of arrangement affect Masa (if they’re even aware of it)? Personally, I’d like to see how that challenges Masa’s view of her adored Emperor - and even of their society at large.
Or, is the sister a “willing pawn”, politically active and scheming in her own right? I’d imagine, whether she seeks power for herself or for “the people”, that sort of ambitiousness might set off Tosh’s alarms - which could drive a wedge between Tosh and Masa, in an interesting way.
Or, she could even be genuinely in love with the Emperor, which would be an obvious source for conflict with Tosh (and maybe even the Emperor-gushing Masa to some extent).
If/when we meet her, would you like to see her have an amicable relationship with your ronin, and sort of “accept them into the inner-circle”, maybe even be grateful you’ve kept Masa safe for the past however-long-you-bodyguarded-them?
Or would you prefer to explore some antagonism between the two? This could be due to her having at least some knowledge of all the shit Masa’s been through lately and blaming it on you, or (if Masa doesn’t tell her anything about your ‘adventures’), due to a more shallow classicist disdain/disregard for a filthy ol’ ronin like you.
I’d personally like to continue to explore that previously established conflict in Masa/ronin’s relationship, regarding the abysmal difference between their social stations (which is only widened by Masa now being the Emperor’s sibling-in-law).
Again, I realize we know next to nothing about her, but what can I say, I’m slightly obsessed with this series and wanna dissect, dissect, dissect. 
Sooo… {here’s a cookie for reading the wall of text, and now that I have your attention again…} What were your first impressions of that reveal and how do you think it could affect the progression of the story and its different characters?

A very graceful ronin indeed.
I’ve always envisioned my ronin to be the female reincarnation of Mugen, as well as something along the lines of Revy (Black Lagoon), despite the obvious difference in genre. Hell, even Jubei from Ninja Scroll fits the role.
I’m a sucker for that wild, unpredictable look that screams danger.
I’d love to hear how others envision their ronin, and on a relative topic, where are all you talented artists? I need me some Book 3 fanart to get through the wait for the next book.

Just with more general dirt on her face, old dried blood beneath her nails and a wilder unkempt hair. And scars, lots and lots of scars. She is charming, aloof and calculative. Also a huge pervert

My ronin is behaviorally emulative of the character Jin from Samurai Champloo, at least as far as his stoic and calculated traits are concerned, hence I imagine him to bear physical resemblance to this:
