I just wanted to say… I am on my third play through of this and still want to play it again. Missing prep was so worth it.
I almost want to create another account so I can buy it again. Seriously, it is so good.

I just bought it and I am so ready for it!
But am I the only one who’s safe-files don’t carry over correctly? [spoiler]With what happened to Ume-Ume and the baron. In my two playthroughs Ume-Ume had to leave her house. But both the second book and the third say she didn’t.
Book 3 also says that my ronin entered the baron’s room and that the baron painted him, afterwards my ronin went to bed. In my two playthroughs of book 2, my ronin didn’t enter and just went straight to bed.[/spoiler]
Am I being dumb or are they really not correct?

When choosing who to look at after finding the body, one option is [Focus on Daisuke, the servant]
even though I killed him in book 1.
After choosing that option, it switches to Keiko:
Keiko. Our maid with the cherry blossom motif inked across her neck and up her chin.
I then played on the CoG website (with the same loaded character), and there everything was correct.
I also got the replay of all the previous choices after loading the character, which I didn’t get on the Steam version.

Thank you very much for this information! It seems like the Steam version released didn’t have the latest scene files. I will contact Hosted Games immediately.

Like in the Steam version Daisuke being the name showing up in the choice list…which is a problem if you killed him in Book 1 and the name should be the female Keiko

The Steam version has been updated. The Daisuke/Keiko error should be fixed (and there should be a Book 1+2 recap after loading in your character).

Wow. Didn’t expect the third one to be out so fast. I haven’t even played the first one yet… all the more reason to get around to it, I suppose. Is this the end of the Samurai of Hyuga, or can we expect a Book 4?
Finished a 100% attunement walkthrough on iOS.
Every now and then a new CoG or HG comes out that blows its competition out of the water and sets a new gold standard. Like eating roast rabbit for the first time and having your taste buds irreparably altered so that ones previously favorite meats taste just alright in comparison.
And I was able to buy it before the price increase

If you see Devon’s webpage, he has several more books in mind for the series. There are several demons that still need to be conquered.
You guys, I’m kind of dying. I didn’t get a chance to go out and get my card today, so my squealing will have to wait until tomorrow. IT SHALL BE JOYOUS.
