Samurai of Hyuga Book 2 Demo

Someone needs to pay. Bring me a match to light my pyre and put evil apple people on it.

Can’t we? I’ve always been able to.

Yup. I actually don’t know how to open CYOA script in steam releases, but doing it fine in online versions here.

Well…sh*t. D: D:

I just hope the apps I’ve already bought from there, won’t be affected by this.

The new build was rejected, but the results were better. I think another small tweak and they’ll take it. Will submit shortly.

Woo! Keep up the good work (and thanks)!

Whoa, mate, that’s a little harsh don’t you think?

Apple is a company, and as a company they are intent on making sure their reputation stays solid.

It seems a bit asinine to get so wound up over slight delays. Especially when you go as far as to basically say “all beautiful women are picky” and “the US is so uptight”.

He’s right about apple, but he is taking it too far by saying those two things. I personally like how popular the choice of games with sexual content are compared to those without.

That’s a reason I like SoH, because it explores the slightly more adult themes without being grossly inappropriate.

I’ll buy it on cog in 5 seconds! Forget apple.

Edit:forgot too add, you should release the unaltered version on cog

But the US is uptight. I still remember Mass Effect 1 sex scene and FOX. And the thing with women being picky was meant as an anegdote, Jesus. Do you people seriously take everything literally? Up to the point to flag my post? Wow…

I’d be careful what you say there bud, there’s people on this site that don’t like it when people say stuff like that.

Fox is a biased right wing nightmare, and you’ll find many Americans who think so. It’s not representative of the entire US.

I think in order to keep myself pacified, I’ll play through the first book once more. And then if apple still doesn’t release by this Thursday/Friday…

I’m watching this thread like a hawk now. Thanks so much for all the hard work, COG staff and Devon Connell! Much love <3

There are no unbiased mainstream media, so whether they’re right, left or centre is irrelevant, but nevermind, it was just an example. The US does seem to have problem with showing sexual content outside of movies though, as opposed to violance for example, which in theory is something bad and unnatural unlike sexuality.

You know the US isn’t the only country with that problem right? Also what you said about the US not caring that much about violence isn’t right either.

It’s true, I hate that sanctimonious faux “family friendly” bullcrap. Really the way some US “concerned conservatives” talk you’d think the heads of American children would spontaneously explode if they were ever to see a certain part of the male anatomy for example. (Which would make streaking in say Central Park a much more enticing prospect. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)

Well the “concerned conservatives” don’t seem to care much about it and while some liberal groups in the US may in fact care about it, those same groups are usually also against (almost) any censorship, meaning their views don’t have quite the same impact on politicians and megacorps.

And Apple is a multinational company, so why are American sexual mores so relevant?

Agreed! They work so hard for our enjoyment (and of course because we also pay for these stories) and get so little thanks for their efforts. :relieved:

US is where most big companies are based though, so it has the largest effect there.

Play SWTOR as a Dark Sided character (preferably a Sith) and then try to wrap yourself around the fact the game is rated Teen in the US (13+) and that any kind of nudity would put the game right to M (17+), but all those bloodbathy, murderous and downright psychopatic choices player can take are seemingly fine (so long as there’s no blood lol).

And Apple is not a charity. They get more than enough for all the apps they sell. There’s no reason to be overly thankful. You’re their client, you can demand. That’s how the market works.
