In the hosted games iOS app, the button that you click to unlock chapter 4-12 says it costs $0.99, but the real price is $5.99. Thought I’d mention this error
iOS version is really messed up. I purchased the upgrade, then started playing. I ‘started’ several chapters in, as a samurai that wasn’t my own. Then, next page, I’m another samurai, again several chapters ahead. This happened twice more, and then I got the endgame screen.
Man am I excited for this. Reread the other books multiple times this summer in anticipation!
Can’t find it on the amazon appstore though, is it not on there yet?
I don’t know what to say aside from that it was really intense. It was a big tonal departure from the other three in spite of having a lot of the same subject matter, which is a big achievement in my opinion. It had an incredibly oppressive atmosphere which I think paid off in the end. Junko got a lot of character development, which was very nice.
Hyuuga players hearing about the update be like…
(wish night comes already so I can continue playing ; - ; )
(gif is from Shinobi no Kuni btw. MC played by Ono Satoshi, as is my image of my own mc)
This is… literally the most disappointing $6 purchase I’ve ever made. If you love the series and characters, stop at book 3, because this is an absolute massacre. Glad I paid for a 25 chapter abuse fanfic with Jun trying to repeatedly sexually assault my character as she just took it. Since you can no longer buy books on the App Store, I guess I’ll have to vent my frustrations here instead of an actual review lmao.
Omg no please tell me there is a happy ending for the mc and jun!? Do I need to play this again? It can’t end like that he was finally acting like a normal person.
Just finished it. Guess who’s gonna cry herself to sleep tonight.
God damn it, why do you do this to us, Devon? I love you for tension, drama and strong story, and I hate you for despair and anguish you cause with endings like this.
But Jun(ko) [supposed] demise? Absolutely golden plot-wise, and just-end-me-i-wanna-cry emotion-wise. Now I can’t help but wish we’ll find a way to get our wolf back, even though I understand that main story shoudn’t focus around those relationships alone.
I actually broke into tears at “don’t you let go of my hand” in the end. Holy hell, what a ride.
