Samurai of Hyuga Book 2 Demo

The Kinsey scale is kind of outdated, it misses out a LOT of sexual orientations and doesn’t take into account nb folks.

MMMMMM u get me, Sam. U get me!!!

It’s what I was taught back in school (at least it was not “abstinence only” and “homosexuality is a sin”, like may modern US schools teach) and it has always been helpful enough to me, as a cis, gay male to figure myself and most of the fictional characters I play out.
It is simple and I like it.

So is Masami a viable RO candidate? While the cover art portrays her maybe around her early to mid twenties from the writing itself I always pictured her no older than 17 - often times I speculated she was between 14-16 - both from her short stature and mannerisms.

LOL maybe? It’s my Awakening avatar that I use in game since it looks the most like me IRL  haha

I SAW THAT HOSTED GAMES CHANGED RELEASE DATE TO SEPT 9TH? I shall eagerly await Thursday night and Friday…why can’t it come sooner haha. I needed book 2 like yesterday!

My icon is Lehran’s Medallion, which is the Fire Emblem in FE9 and FE10. I’m not so fond of the newer games but I still play them (I’ve played every FE except 2 and 5). 100%ed Awakening and did p. well on Fates (as well as you can do with 2828200923 paywalls), but Tellius is my particular brand of gay.

I need it now… bloody… college… ass… damn… cow… I’ve had a hard time and I need stuff to talk about to get my mind off it.

Iirc then neither of the cover artworks have been confirmed as true reflections of the characters. And Masami/Masashi being a RO, along with their age, has been debated a lot in this thread. It was pretty interesting to read all the different ages that people have interpreted the characters to be. ^^

Anyway I think what was concluded was that we have no official age of Masami/Masashi and whether they are or will be a RO is unknown atm.

I’m unsure of what the author means with typical dating sim problems…maybe all the romantic scenes are avoidable? Uh, but then…I’m still confused about the potential ROs LOL. Maybe there are just possible scenes for everyone that you can avoid depending on your choices? That was kind of my impression from the demo. The suspense is killing me you guys…

@shettiejw Well, a trend in dating sims is usually once you get onto the path of a RO, you can’t romance anyone else for the rest of the game on that path, usually forcing you to start over should you decide you like one of the other characters more. There are ones that also make you choose a person straight up after a short intro into all the RO’s personalities.

From the sound of it, those won’t be an issue with the SoH series. You could maybe even end up as a Samurai version of Captain Kirk.

Oh is that what it means? That’s…interesting :open_mouth: This just makes me even more curious to see how it all goes down! I’m a little disheartened to see that the release date wasn’t started on the blog or twitter, but hopefully it gets released as planned!

Oh good I’m so glad! I really began liking her in the first game so I’m very glad that’s the case!

So we date all the monsters, talk erratically, and karate chop everyone acting arrogant…cool I’m game.

Apple still hasn’t approved the game, so don’t get too excited.

Just curious… If Apple’s version is still pending, will this affect the Android version release?

Translation: Apple still hasn’t approved the game, so get ready for a long, cold winter…

Most likely. COG prefers the games to release at the same time at all stores. I imagine it helps sales and makes things more tidy. Also, Apple is the most finicky of all of them and I think has caused long delays on some games before.

It’d be nice if in the future COG offers direct downlowait(where did that come from? download) from their site for Android and Apple phones/tablets without having to wait for Apple to approve it first, if it’s possible.

Well then its a good thing i have android  Play store anyone? >.> @jasonstevanhill you wont try and crush me right?

I wonder why Apple hasn’t approved it yet… maybe they’re reviewing all its content and that’s taking a while.

It’s the save import system. Apple likes to take a lot longer with any game that allows you to import saves.

Its officially Friday (where I live). Now I’m giving out a depressed laughter because I’m still unable to buy Book 2 from the App Store…
