the power of the main character works bc they have a chip (like most ppl in vapolis) implemented into the side of their head, which allows them to basically hack into the counciousness of the person they’re targeting and take over for a little while. they can only do that bc they have a hacked version of the chip themself.
Hi! I just found this game demo, and I must say it’s very awesome, I was just wondering what year does the story takes place and how much dose the purple eyes cost in Vapolis?
hello!! thanks so much for ur interest in my wip! I think I haven’t established when the story takes place but I would say in the near future, so around 2040-2050 but I could be contradicting myself bc I’m not sure if I answered that question on tumblr already (I can’t find it if I did) and to your second question: purple eyes are very expensive (like hundred thousands of credits) bc they require your eyes to be replaced by ocular prosthesis! hope that answered your questions 
Are you planning to write more Remember, You Die books? And if so will we learn about the Mcs past? Will you be able to marry your romantic interest and have kids with them? Sorry about so many questions I’m just so curious about the game!
hi! remember, you will die will be a standalone book since the plot I have planned is only enough for one book, but if I ever do come back to the world of vapolis it will probably be with a different main character for now! and to your second question: no, as I said the plot is only enough for one book and I don’t see any of the romance options settling down and getting married with the main character any time soon!
I’m really interested in this setting and the story feels good, will check up on next updates
Not sure if an error or I just read it wrong, but when search for a fire arm, I got one removed from my pants.
Picked an earlier choice of NOT bringing it, then went to the Sinners place, if that helps.
Did I have two on my person? If not, would there be an option to not have any weapon at all?
Other than that, the writing style (both descriptions and dialog) is pretty nice and quite fluid. Didn’t read anything stiff or that felt forced in.
The story overall seems more adult and mature, which is always a good surprise.
The main characters so far seem pretty fleshed out and not bland archetypal caricatures, which is a huge thing for me, so quite please with that too.
Not sure I have much to complains about for now, even if only typo wise, only spotted one;
‘‘Dante holds your gaze with his own mismatched ONE’’ should be ONES I believe.
Also, a suggestion, for the sunglasses and attire choices, it would be nice to know what is chosen since I had to go back with a save since the clothing didn’t fit much what I had in mind with the colour/style mentioned in the choice.
More styles/colour palettes would also be nice, but if it doesn’t have any impact on other character’s perception, I don’t think it’d very necessary at all.
Also seems heavily cyberpunk 2077 inspired, but I could be wrong. Got that vibe or somthin’.
Actually you bring the gun regardless, but the one you can choose to bring, or leave behind is a Hungting Knife. Two different weapons.
hello! thanks so much for the feedback! I’m quite happy with everything you said, especially the bit about the characters being fleshed out and different @AdmiralLynx89 was right! you can bring a hunting knife, the gun is found either way but there’s gonna be a scene in the future that explains it.
and yes, cyberpunk 2077 is def one of the inspirations of the vibe of the story! I’ve been pretty hyped for that game for over 2 years and always loved the cyberpunk aesthetic a lot.

I wrote and coded a small update! 4k words have been added to the demo which bumps it up to around 35k words overall. the save slots are sadly broken, so you’ll be thrown back to the beginning of the second chapter once more bc I changed some small things in the second as well.

I’m really enjoying the game, I also love the concept of the future too. Question tho: I chose to leave my knife at home when going to the club but they still search me and find a revolver, is that an error or is it part of some concept you working on??

I just played the game and I really enjoyed it! One thing - maybe I missed it but when did we lose the disk? The MC took it home after the stabbing incident and I don’t recall it being mentioned again until it was stated that we had lost it.
