I love this game. Itās a combination of my favorite movies and games, butā¦ I ran into a big bug. After playing i had to close the game for an extended time and somehow my progress was reset to the very beginning.
Is the problem my Android phone?

Oh no, Iām sorry to hear this!
Did this happen recently? If so, then itās probably because we pushed a big update a few days ago in order to add chapter saves. That necessitated replacing all the files in the game, which might well have broken your game progress. Sorry about that, I suspect it was just a case of unfortunate timing.

This is almost assuredly related to the update; were you still in the first chapter? I just tried launching my copy and it sent me back to the start of the chapter I was in, which is what happens when a game is updated, and if you were still on chapter 1 then everything is working as expected.

It happened a couple of times, but one time was in chapter 1. The second time it hit, I was beginning chapter 2. At first I thought my phone was possessed and reset it out of spite lol

Oooh. It was recently, I downloaded the game just a couple days ago 
I seem to always have bad timing when it comes to these games

The same problem has been happening to me and several users of the iOS Omnibus app where after pausing a game, it somehow randomly restarts, the android version might also have the same problem. Itās happened across multiple games, not just relics. Donāt know if thatās the case for your situation, but it could be

@Hunty Have you tried the game recently? Did this issue fix itself, or is it still happening?
Itās hard to know what to do: on the one hand, the first time it gets reported is right after we pushed a new update, which might indicate that the update is broken. On the other hand, others are saying that this is an issue across multiple games, in which case itās not the update thatās causing the issue! If anybody else has experienced this problem (the game going back to the start after you close it down and come back a few hours later), please please please let me know!

I have contacted HG. They asked that, if anybody is experiencing this issue of being booted back to the start after closing the game (in Relics or in other games), please could you drop an email to support AT choiceofgames DOT com, so they can investigate it.

Hey,am I the only one who feels that it is very hard to rise the political impact to support the oppressed? ]because I see that there is not any stats change when giving the first artifact to the synagoge besides a little altruism nor do I feel it changes at any moment because I took every choice to give the artifact to itĀ“s rightfull owner and ended up with neutral political impact,is it designed that way?
