The “unknown” is supposed to be displayed until MC get their name. But for it occurring throughout the story is definitely a bug. I’ve checked the code and it should be repaired, although I’m unsure if it’s the correct ‘code error’. Thank you for reading~

Hey sorry to bother you, I asked a while ago on the Tumblr for the game, about the possibility of adding trans/nonbinary character options. At the time I got a response that seemed to imply you’d look into it after finishing a few other things.
At this point it definitely seems like the things mentioned have been added, so I was just wondering if those options are now something being worked on, and if so if you have any idea when they’d be implamented?

Actually, I’ve thought about it before. The decision, for now, is not to implement it since the code for gender is kind of fixed and rooted in other codes. But I can’t promise this be the end decision for me. I might’ve added it when the game was released.
I’m still positive that I think I can implement it somehow. Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been busy with the alpha version. Thanks for the question.
