Hi everyone,
I am an independent game developer from Algeria and I am working on a game I would like to publish through this platform. Since Algeria currently doesn’t have a tax treaty with the U.S ( Although PayPal is available in Algeria), I wanted to inquire about possible alternatives or solutions that would allow me to publish my game through Hosted Games.
Has anyone published from a non treaty country or found a workaround?

I believe @pimenita also published a hosted game whilst living in a country without a tax treaty. Maybe they have some insights.

Yeah, I would encourage you to follow the instructions HPS linked since I last contacted COG 2 years ago, so any info I could offer might be outdated. You can still read about my experience here.

Thank you very much. May I ask whom you contacted? And when you reached out to them, was your project already finished or still in progress?
I contacted the person that worked as the editor for HG (I saw her around the forums and she had mentioned she worked for COG). No clue who’s doing her job at the moment, though.
I made an introductory post for my game a month before I talked to her. People were showing interest so I decided to take the plunge and ask about my chances of getting published. It took me 3 years to finish it and by the time I was done she wasn’t on the forums anymore, so I used the e-mail linked at the top. Best of luck!

Thank you. I honestly thought I had no chance of getting my story published, but your response gave me hope.
I’ve already contacted the e-mail listed above, but I hadn’t considered reaching out to the editor.
