Any advice for the forest tribe route
In my playthrough i went with bearing/grace 4 with 1 in resolve. Archer/naturalist/warrior all 3
I had a way to get through situations more often than not
i think the problem is a lot of good convincing arguments that would seem innovative such as convincing the guards to release your partner is base on religious arguments and therefore traditional
what about Gisla if lord Galimar is free game so should his counter part…? please
First off guys please try to hide spoilers, just the questions some people ask are by themselves humongous spoilers so please and please.
I almost always have to avoid forums until at least having done a double play through.
Second off really great game. The length alone was very satisfying. Probably going to be a bit difficult remembering my choices for when the save system is uploaded
i found that playing with the goddess Amiri i am unable to set traps in the ruin, while the two other gods is possible. i mean Amiri is the goddess of tricky right , shouldn’t the option to set traps be there as well?
Spoiler
and when i play with the goddess Yune it did said If you were a disciple of Amiria, you could bewitch the trolls with illusions and drive them right into the water to drown. Your options, however, are more limited. But examining the ruined temple, a plan forms in your mind. But now i am disciple of Amiria i can’t even set the traps
i believe i found a typing mistake in chapter 5
hey disappear outside the window as the falling snow has effaced them. But there is one particularly clear footprint just below the window: ia sandal-print. Whoever did this–and presumably, whoever killed Skoben and is responsible for other, lesser calamities that have befallen Fort Ulgas–wore sandals.
The: ia sandal-print part
Both fixed! Corrections will appear in the next update.
I’m glad that the Pon Para bugs have so far been (1) minor and (2) found quickly. Last week I got a bug report for Empyrean, my first game, that had me staring at half-remembered code for two hours.
On my second playthrough and it’s been nothing but amazing so far. I actually enjoy the stats system, it’s quite innovative and allows for unrestricted hybrid characters through wise use of professions and attributes. For example my PC is an expert well mannered archer and warrior despite been weak physically (Might) which is actually a real life possibility
Empyrean had bugs??? i played like 100 hours in to that game and didn’t run in to any
well i try to run a might 4 character and end up failing every check, grace does seem to be the better stats to take
First of all this game is amazing. I have played it twice so far and enjoyed it greatly!
I was wondering though, if someone could give me some tips on how to get the full Melaxus romance? I’ve got her relationship stat up but haven’t encountered any real romantic scenes? And from what I read here there should be some moments in the labyrinth and other places.
If anyone can give me some pointers I’d really appreciate it.
(Because Melaxus is love)
Well, I’ve finished the game and it’s still as great as I thought it’d be a few posts up.
By the way, @Moochava, the relationship between Teiijia and Remnant sounded to me like a warped version of the relationship between the MC and the apprentice from The Twer Behind the Moon. I thought that was interesting to think about.
Speaking about the game’s endings, there’s no way to save Mytele, is there
Teijia and Remnant: if you play your cards right in Tower, the relationship between you and your apprentice can be almost exactly like the relationship between Remnant and Teijia!
The endgame: It is indeed possible to save Mytele, though by no means easy. Bang the hell out of that big wheel every chance you get, use up any leftover favor to boost your chances, and try not to get killed.
Thanks! But, ah, gee, now I want play it all again because I think I only missed one stat check to break the wheel perfectly.
Edit: can a character who is not a master at any profession do it? Speaking of another thing I’ve been thinking about, is there a way to spare the Leviathan and not get Melaxu hurt?
Edit: can a character who is not a master at any profession do it?
There are so many variables in Pon Para that I’m honestly not sure, but I think it should be possible even for a non-specialist.
The Leviathan and Melaxu: Yes, if you do well enough against Fanes and his paredroi, you can spare the Leviathan and while Melaxu may get a little scratched up, she won’t be permanently wounded.
Really enjoying the game, have not managed to complete the hole thing yet, Warrior seems really hard to do it with. I take it that to be successfull with Warrior it’s best to go with See kingdom as your first choice then Bow as second and then select warrior to get the baring up. Trying to work out the best way to play a warrior.
Yeah, I managed to do it while having 2s in all professions. The MC ends up a bit hurt by it, but using Melaxu and Tamur through the whole thing is all possible
In the first bit of the game (the demo chapters), you can get your skill up to a whopping +3 warrior, which, coupled with high might, probably makes your character super strong. But I think it’s also better to make a character that has a fair share of skill in other stuff. Why not stop trying to use archery a lot and instead focus on having physician or athlete as a profession?
Yes was thinking of going for Fissission to go with my warrior skill. I wondered if anyone has managed to get threw the game with there mastered skill of Marriner at number 3, if so what professions go best with Marriner?
I think just keep complementing her any chance you get, then you get the point where she says something about she’s getting used to it and wouldn’t mind you continue. Then you get the achievement. Then the scenes
But before that I think impressing her is also necessary ie looking strong and not dying during the early scenarios with her as it lowers her relationship score with you.
