Poll: Which emojis should we use?

As of a couple of days ago, our forum no longer uses the JoyPixels (aka EmojiOne) emojis. We have a choice of six different emoji sets. (The forum is currently configured to use Twitter emojis.)

Please help us choose which emojis to adopt! You can see these and other emojis at Emojipedia. There was also some discussion about which emojis to use in our earlier thread.

Thanks for sharing the further examples… the original sample from the other thread was just me testing a few that I thought of off the top of my head, not systematic at all :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d also encourage anyone who hasn’t checked out the other thread to read Lan’s thoughts here, which provide some analysis about the varying features of each set.

My opinion is: Every time a change has been forced on us, the resulting set has been worse and worse.

Yeah… overall, Apple’s low on my list due to the facial features being so small, but I do like their squid the most.

While I do like the general design of the twitter ones, I really have a problem with the weird paleness and lack of contrast, especially when put next to the other ones.

(And the octopus is probably the worst of the bunch.)

I’ll probably close the poll at EOD. Seems like Twitter is winning, so we’ll most likely just stick with that.
