Don’t worry took me 6 years to finish Werewolves: Haven Rising 
. Mostly because was in the demo didn’t really interested me but once I got past it I started enjoying it the game and I went right away to get the sequel once I was done.
Agree and I really enjoy exploring the different factions even if my mc didn’t like them
Funny enough everyone like my mc expect Natalia due to a difference in beliefs (he is a manipulative scheming power hunger jerk so Lawfull Evil and she is Chaotic Good. Still got along with Em thanks to the Lawful part of LE), what to do with the Stars (He thinks only those who can understand them should being able to use them along with anyone he trusts which is Baz and Vivian) and my mc not liking the Grim Reminders to start with (Due to the person they put on a pedestal being the one responsible making their birth right so hard to get along with the whole anyone and everyone should use the stars things) Still brought them together though in my mc head only to better manipulate them.
Agree it’s up there with FH for me with how many options it has for roleplaying while still having a set background. I especially like the many many options there are for what to do with the stars.
Think it was easier then it was in the beta or maybe you are just better at campaign then me even with not trying
