Ooh nice! I liked a lot that he is an older love interest. I want more of this in otome games! He is so hot. I like how the MC is more than meets the eye too, at first I thought she would be helpless but she’s kind of badass? I think she will save Alvarez’s life after the ending of the demo. I love this trope, the big guy is all “I will protect you” and in the end the MC is who protects him… I live for this.
I went first for the one who wanted to kill MC because he looks a lot like Sasazuka from Collar x Malice and I love him.
But I liked Luke too. It’s hard to say who will be the crazier of them. The first scene of this game, it made me feel… things. I hope to see more in the full game!
I agree with all of that! I love the MC–she’s no wilting flower or damsel in distress. Their sparring session was perfect. And holy fuck, that sex scene. That’s the hottest scene I’ve ever seen in a VN (though the intro to Heart Cage is pretty damned hot, lol).
I can’t wait to see where it goes next. What a place to stop the demo, though. Yeesh.

I don’t think Nerissa’s explanation of how she survived was the truth. Her story was sketchy as hell. I am pretty sure at some moment, Nerissa will betray us. We are in chapter 7 and don’t even know how Zovak looks. And let’s not forget how we saw a (flashback) conversation between Vexx and Nerissa, where they seemed to conspire about something. The same Vexx who was Zovak’s spy? Another thing that I noted, is that if we talk to a non-romanced Cal, he is looking at Nerissa and we can tease him about it. But… if he suspects of something?
Also, I’m outraged about how she claimed that her and MC’s father was a bad ruler but seems to make the same mistakes. My goal in this game will be free the galaxy of this wretched monarchy and become a space pirate with the A6 crew.
Mine, too. I was unimpressed with Nerissa and don’t trust her a bit. And I don’t like how she makes a deal with one planet but wants to force one that has been ignored for so long to bow to her. Fuck that.
And, as someone who hated Vexx at first, I have to say he may be my favorite RO out of the bunch. Damon was, but his thing with Alisa and the obvious push of them being the OTP left a bitter taste for that route. I do like Cal, too, though.
I haven’t played the latest chapters but I did hear that Damon and Alisa have a thing that lessens my enthusiasm for Damon’s route. Cal was another route I was playing on, so reading your comment made me not want to read other routes aside from Damon. lmao Don’t need to go into too much detail but Damon and Alisa OTP vibes, how prevalent was it Damon’s route versus the other routes?
Try Vexx. His is actually surprisingly sweet, despite the circumstances.
As for Damon, in Damon’s route, it’s not nearly as overt as in other routes. In the other routes, it’s really shoved down your throat that they are meant to be and that Damon wants to be with her.
This is what I am afraid of… I know they have lives outside the MC. This is going to be a hard decision. Vexx doesn’t interest me much but it’s been 2 years since I played, I’ll see if I have a change of heart. Thanks for insight.
Cal is my favorite route, in this scene mc can tease him like “you think Nerissa is pretty?” but maybe he was suspecting something ? But romanced Cal barely looks at her, so I don’t know

Thank you for recommending this real gem. I just finished Aeden’s route and it was amazing. The story is interesting and the art is gorgeous - all of the LIs and the MC’s looks are so beautiful

Edit: About the Andromeda six - I really hate it how they’re trying to make couples of all the unromanced characters. It’s not only Damon and Alisa, it’s also Cal with Nerissa, Aime with the new guy from the last episode I forgot his name, Bash with Fiona…
Damon is still my favorite but I try to forget about Alisa every time I’m in Vexx’s route. Vexx is pretty good also, but I prefer Damon. I don’t play the other routes, I tried Cal’s once but he’s blond ahahaha and I lost interest.
Also I’m with you that Nerissa is hiding something. My MC won’t go with her sister to rule, she just wants to fly away with her new family.
Yeah, I do, too. I was on the writer’s Patreon for a spell and flat out asked her about Damon and Alisa (because it really pissed me off), and she said that when you romance Damon, he and Alisa are just friends. If you don’t romance him, then they’re in love (not exact wording, but that’s basically what she said). It really irked me.
I skip the screens with Damon and Alisa when I’m on Vexx’s route. Like you, I like Vexx, but prefer Damon.
How did I know this before you said it? I had the same response, actually. The writer’s Patreon had a few NSFW scenes she wrote for Cal though, that made me want to keep playing his route. I’m just sick of having to fly through screens to avoid Damon and Alisa twu wuv, though.

Time to crime!) ) listed as an author on their page anymore and I think I’m not imagining that the writing became worse.

Yes, I played it! Unsurprisingly, I loved it. The art is stunning, and the story seems to be interesting. I feel so happy for the HUGE success that was their Kickstarter. They deserve it because of the shitshow that happened with Last Legacy.
Last Legacy Rant
I don’t know if you know Last Legacy, but it was a project that some members of the team behind Touchstarved were responsible for. It was an isekai fantasy romance published by an app called Fictif. Fictif was owned by Nix Hydra, the same company behind The Arcana. I don’t know the details, but I think they got some problems with the company, and all the team left. Unfortunately, Nix Hydra is the owner of Last Legacy, not the writers, so I guess that I will never see the ending of the story
The quality and consistency of the stories were clearly decaying over time, but I think that this is just a reflection of the dissatisfaction of the team with the company. The business model of Fictif was like Choices, you have to buy or farm stars to unlock special scenes in the story. And I think the only female LI wasn’t profitable enough because the difference in updates between the routes was HUGE. When they left Sage Route was in chapter 14, Felix Route was in chapter 13 and Anisa was in chapter 7.
Not much time after this, Nix Hydra was sold to a company called Dorian, and their stories apparently would be updated on the Dorian app. But man, this app is TERRIBLE. It’s all so clunky and more than once I remembered the old dress-up games in flash from the 2000s. I tried to read the new things they create for The Arcana but this horrendous app killed all my willpower for reading anything there.
Also, they made a mess with Felix’s route, in this route there is a character who is Felix’s ex, and most of the readers had the hots for him, even if he was presented as a villain at the beginning of the story. So they forced Rime through our throats and left our MCs being the third wheel. I really hope this doesn’t happen in Touchstarved, I think Ais and Vere are in a friends-with-benefits situation.
The LI who caught my attention in Touchstarved is Leander, but I am interested in knowing about all of them. I liked Ais too but we’ll see how is the situation with Vere lol

I stopped playing it after dropping who knows how much into it because it just wasn’t worth it (interestingly, someone is doing a rewrite on itch–not sure how they can without getting sued, which makes me wonder about some other games that have gone to hell). The other one was some Japanese Samurai game, the name of which I can’t remember. You’d earn the things to move along the story and, half the time, nothing freaking happened. The whole setup seems like a scam to me. Let me buy the damned game so I can play it. You end up paying a ridiculous amount for nothing. Anyway…
I’m hoping you’re right about the third wheel thing with Ais and Vere. I really liked Ais and Leander, but got that same vibe. Of course, I kinda got the impression that Ais has banged all of them, except the grump (can’t remember their name) and the doctor. Ais also dropped a hint that Leander and the doc had screwed around.
I’m hoping they don’t go the route Andromeda 6 went, with all of them paired off, and the MC is just kind of in the way of it all. But it definitely seems to have potential.
Another Touchstarved fan! I fell in love the demo that I joined it’s kickstarter. I haven’t tried the Last Legacy but I’m optimistic about this. Kuras (the doctor) is my favorite so far! He’s my pfp right now lmao.

I tend to skip Obey Me types of games even though some of artstyle are really good but the micro transactions were so bad! I really wish I could just buy a route and be done with it.
I finished the first of the IT Lives series and I enjoyed it but earning those keys were such a pain. I’ll try out the link you shared. It looks interesting!
I tried to play Obey Me, but despite the character designs being cute, the story didn’t catch much of my attention so I didn’t play much or spend money on it.
I think they’ll probably be fine if the game is free. There is a fan-made game of the It Lives series (talking about these pay-to-play games, the It Lives Anthology and Endless Summer are the best stories in Choices) and it’s better than the original games
I wish that were an option to just buy the damn thing from those apps. We have the ads for farming stars, and It’s so boring to have to wait to unlock keyszzzzzz
