The new update, Closed Beta Version 0.23 is now live for the Greater Circle tier on my Patreon. Chapter 2-3 is relatively straight forward compared to the previous Chapter 2-2 without as much inherent branching.
- Engage in a duel between some massive AOE multi-user spells. And by that I mean, it’s time to frolic through the forest in search of the ley lines. This can end pretty peaceably… or not so much… depending upon your previous actions.
- People who aren’t dead are still potentially calling and text messaging you. And maybe some undead ones too.
- Hang out in an abandoned industrial warehouse and try not to get tetanus! Merlin must’ve chosen this place for a reason, right?

Yes, please talk and theorize amongst yourselves. Obviously I can’t comment, but what’s a mystery (or a pile of them) without a bunch of theories? Just spoiler tag anything you think you might’ve found through code diving.
Only the Serial Killer MC can get the achievement for flawlessly taking down the blob creature. People were discussing the details further up the thread.
Also confirming, there are no Camelot OCs. There are thousands of canonical Arthurian characters, no need to make up an OC (especially as there’s no conceivable way to guess the identity of an OC). Everyone’s past identities, good, bad, or in-between are in Merlin’s Guide.
Arthurian Level 3 MC knows better than that. This is folklore, so it’s fanfiction all the way down, and the early Lancelot stories are part of the Matter of Britain, which is as canonical as you can get.
I wouldn’t even say that Lancelot being Chrétien de Troyes’s creation is the most popular theory in historical circles because Ulrich von Zatzikhoven’s Lanzelet (German) is from the same time period and both Chrétien & Ulrich mention an older (now long-lost) Lancelot story. Not to mention the theories about Welsh Llenlleawc = Lancelot.
At most you’d get Lancelot being a Johnny Come Lately compared to some of the older characters (assuming he’s not actually Llenlleawc or such), but then the MC could just as likely be one of the other newer characters from Lancelot’s stories so…
Merlin’s too busy screaming about Frankish slander. Also, Klingsor the Penisless Necromancer is in the newest update to Merlin’s Guide.
That’s not the default Merlin reaction, so you had to trigger some variable/flag to be “blessed” with that. Also, just keep doing dumb sh!t that can get yourself & the others killed and you’ll tank Merlin’s relationship stat in no time.
As a single straight man, you can totally still have Adrian as a stalker! (Also Arthur says that female stalkers are highly overrated).

Don’t be possessed. Have your demon’s mark revealed to Merlin (some way or other) and then refuse to let them heal you until the some variation of “You can only heal me if I can punch you in the face!” comes up. Then accept their offer.
