That’s what makes your story interesting, other than the great and also clear story structures

Hehehe, good pun
And I think that everyone here can agree that their story is their child, I know I get protective of my writhing very easily so no one judge me!

Tarzan of the Apes happens to be my favorite book, all-time… Not sure if I’d consider it a fairy tale, though. Of course, I’ll definitely play your game if I get to play as Tarzan. Nothing like taking on the wilds and fighting dangerous wildlife because your parents weren’t smart about who to hitch a boat ride with.

Just a warning, while the stories of Tarzan are in the public domain, the name is still copyrighted… so you’ll be playing as Zantar lol
So, are we going to be playing through each of the stories, despite our personality type matching up to one specific character?
that would be a good thing to do, in my opinion, then that way the reader can experience the other choices they didn’t make…just saying that’s all

Ooh, Beauty and the Beast sounds interesting, particularly if the protagonist needs to also fight the Beast or something.

Yup! Not sure yet how I will work out the stat checks in the story; still writing~
I hadn’t even thought about fighting lol. But now I want to put combat in the stories. Now I need ideas for stats! on second thought, I have plenty of stats already lol. I think I’ll make combat about choices, ie how you deal with it, not based on skills. But the choices will relate to personality traits.

Hey guys, I’ve been plugging away doing some character development for the fairytale protagonists. After that’s done I plan to work on Robin Hood first. In the meantime, have a funny video clip of Rapunzel!

Update: I’ve decided to get rid of the “outer self” stats to just focus on the MBTI stats. This makes things much simpler for me when developing choices and story branches.I will also be adding “Renown” to show how well-known you are, which I think fits the premise of playing as a “legend” very well.

Just stumbled across this; looks like a really interesting premise. I’ll have to give it a proper look when I get home from the office tonight.

Looks like there’s not much to properly look at yet. Looking forward to see where this goes.

I think it’s sort of shame that you decided not to do the inner/outer self stat concept as I thought it added complexity to the MC (character development!) and it it was a neat little twist on the regular CoG Stat system. However I can understand cutting it out if it involved way too much work to be viable.

I have posted here before and am a huge Myers Briggs fan myself and therefore extremely excited for your WIP. I have taken the official test as well as a lot of the online versions out there and am staunchly an ENFJ. However, something with the coding is misindentifying ENFJ for ENTJ. It did it originally when you first posted the WIP and I played through several times taking and retaking the quiz with slight variations in my responses. I thought perhaps your test version in the game was a little different so it put as a T instead of an F (which I am definitely not).
With your new stats screen though where I can see the percentages associated with each of the traits, I noticed it was actually a game coding error. Your in-game Myers Briggs test does place me as an ENFJ, but somehow labels all ENFJs as ENTJs. Here is the image of my screen shot to show you what I mean. The percentages place me as clearly an ENFJ around 60% or more in each attribute, but the description below the stats misidentify me as ENTJ and so does the language within the game.
I am excited to follow this game along and can’t wait for more updates!
We’ll see what happens once I’m done writing, but as my first work I’m trying not to go too overboard lol
Thank you so much for pointing this out, I’ll fix it ASAP.
Update: just fixed it, but I won’t re-release it until I have the next chapter done. If you wouldn’t mind taking the test again then, that would be much appreciated!

No problem. I am just excited to have someone as excited about MBTI as me doing a game around it. It totally makes sense to do especially as a mashup with faerie tales.
