Since enabling night mode on the forum, I have experienced occasional instances where the screen goes completely black screen, making it impossible to view any content.
This glitch appears random and might be related to browser rendering or a UI bug in the night mode feature.
Has anyone else encountered this issue, and are there any known fixes or troubleshooting tips? Thanks in advance for your help!
I don’t know if it’s connected but for the last two years or so, when I open the COG forum app, when it’s loading I have a big black circle in the center. I have a dark mode on too since the very beginning. This is the loading screen and my normal screen inside the app.
OP was a spambot (sigh) but I’ll leave the thread open as @Mei_Hiroshi has a genuine issue.
@Mei_Hiroshi Does that happen with other browsers as well? I use dark mode and haven’t had problems on my phone (Firefox and Chrome on Android) or desktop (usually Firefox on Windows).
Hi sorry! Didn’t know that it was a spam bot. It’s just on my phone. And I only use Google chrome on my phone.
Oh no don’t worry! There’s a particular thing they do where the bot posts something innocuous and then go back and edit their post with a spam link 
very tedious. But hopefully someone may be able to help with your real problem!
