In short, can the Steam version, if and when that may or may not happen be released with one additional romance not currently present in the now released game? Assuming the current mobile versions are also going to be updated to include said romance at the time of the possible Steam release?

Sure! I’m all about old games getting content updates. It’s just that most people are invested in it the way I am (with Vampire).

But as to the problem its self i found it just today almost as soon as i wrote that message. After the update
Help! I got to the point where I confess my love to goose but the option is greyed out. Her status in my stat screen is “love” what am I missing?
You can’t be in another romance at that point. If you’re involved with Addie or Dmytro this late in the game, then Goose is no longer available.

This gamebook was truly a great read. I have to admit at first I had my doubt that I will truly get into the story, it seemed like a typical spy set in steampunk story to me but as I went deeper into the story, the more I found myself got lost in it. I love how I - as the reader, was led through questions after questions and when the answer was finally revealed, I went blank for a moment and then went “Oh … Ohhhhh … OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
Great writing, great story and great characters too, this story will be added to my “favourite COG/HG” lists I am sure.
P.S: I read that there may be an update with some “beefy goodness”, well, time to join those who are waiting for that update 
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’m slowly working on something new and unrelated. I’ll probably post a WIP thread in a week or so for that.
Big ol’ hunka top sirloin will be added to Butler for the (hopeful) Steam release. It’ll go in the other versions at the same time.
