You can also do this the other way, where you convince the kid and then get Malko to lean on a judge to overrule the Kyle verdict.

Yet another great game from Mike Walter. I felt like it was similar to Life of a Wizard.

And, what is the deal with “Daria”? I’ve read few of your books and always wondered what is it

How do we fight in the tournament? The one where the orrok teacher sends us. It always claims that I’m bio-hacking and they ban me from participating.

I’ve never had that issue. Are you using cybernetics?

Cyrbenetics are allowed. It’s the DNA altering subtance the ban one.

To get the inside job achievement, you need to pick “No, this isn’t the way.” and then either get Nash to leave the purists or stop him, and then “I will inform high command about Amanda Kramer.” during C13, which means you need to avoid ratting them out until that point.

This also means that you can’t be in a relationship with a non-human, as they will find out and revoke your membership.

Daria is the setting of several of Lucid’s games–it is the main setting and focal country in Life of a Wizard, the Lost Heir trilogy, and Last Wizard. New Daria is the setting for Life of a Mobster and Paradox Factor (not sure if New Daria and fantasy Daria are the same continent sans/plus magic). In the setting of Life of a Space Force Captain, it’s mentioned that the spacefaring Solarians/humans that set up the DSF chose to call themselves after a thing they liked (the games set in Daria–there are a lot of references to the fantasy Daria games specifically) rather than maintain the earthly ties.

Thank you! I think I’ve previouslly ratted them out too early and too late.

Is there a way to avoid getting trapped in the time bubble?

Do nothing

Can you elaborate?

I tried twice, a combat run where I fought the AgaBoss thing, and a “negotiator” run. For the combat run, I remember being given the option to let the AgaBoss get away, something about threatening my ship. But I don’t recall having such an option for my negotiator build.

Remember what you did in the treehouse VR hack at the very beginning, and don’t try to save everyone from the terror attack in Musk Station. You have to let the two who died then stay dead.

I got this one by making friends with the rock people, who you’ll meet if you choose to stay with your stranded companion on the Canary Cluster planet (the one where you’re trying to place sensors to spy on the Suverians). Later on, their leader will contact you and ask for help getting fair representation amongst other species. Say yes, and eventually she’ll suggest you become president of the entire DSF. Being president gives you the authority to negotiate peace with the Apogee.

If you’re talking about getting trapped in the black hole for 30 years, that is unavoidable.

Yeah, that’s what I meant.

What happens to the PC’s partner? I got with Flok and Luum in my 2 runs and I don’t think they were mentioned past the 30 year timeskip.

Uh… Well I don’t know about them, but in my playthrough I sent Luum and my kid back to the SOL system, she contacted me a little later and I met my kid when she showed up in her ship.

Whaaaat!! I befriend those rock people every time, and I’ve never had this happen across all my playthroughs!

I’ll have a look at the code and check the requirements. You might also need to have been on the student council and won the academy’s election, since she mentioned that as why she thought my character was qualified.

EDIT: Yep, that’s what it is. The game checks for the sac_president variable before Irayusef will contact you.
