Learn cyonics, then learn cyonic defense.
Overall the story is for the most part well done and intriguing, though are some inconsistencies here and there with the choices/stat needs.
Though the issue for me is twofold: One-There is a rather high reputation demand for the factions, especially early on. I mean 75 or so rep for a faction already when we have been more focused on not dying/working on our stats? Bit much. Two-I fully expected at least ONE of my possible one-nighters to end up with some chance of a kid by chance, as it would make things a bit awkward for the soon-to-be/already-made captain.
In short: 3/5 for me. Had some solid moments here and there but waaay too high rep need, along with skill wise in certain areas for a fluid play through.
What were the first and second endings people got? My first ending was “Let’s Make a Deal” , the Artemis secrets trade-in ending, and the second one was “Paradox” wherein I chose not to go with my father and then did not move when I returned mentally to the treehouse. Paradox is remarkably easy to get.
Also, a small part of me is surprised that winning the class presidency and winning the award as a result isn’t an achievement.
My little Linneran bug girl has already stolen my heart.
I dun wanna get into spoilers too much, but just be patient with Nate ![]()

Ahhhh I just finished my first play through and it’s the most fun I’ve have with a Hosted Game! While I love the other hosted games, this one really made me feel all those feeling I had the first time I’ve played a COG. The fear from making the wrong choice was heavy in this one and I loved every moment of it. There were times I wished there was a description of characters (I’m sorry I keep repeating this), but after meeting with the characters a bunch of times I can remember some of them.
Will try to get the other endings now. The “what if i were my mc decisions” are now over and the ending i got was king nate of europa, bluur my child, and dsf under aurellians.
Loved this to bits!
What were the first and second endings people got?
My first was War Hero and second was Ultimate AWOL.
This game makes me realize what being a vulcan or tellarite in Star Trek must be like “oh god, ‘another’ human?!”
Edit: Got space married, had a space daughter and beat up space Ghenghis Khan, all in all a good adventure!
Does anyone know how to get all the kids together to play VR with as a Solarian? I’ve been trying but it seems like it isn’t possible
Relationship >=50 with everyone.
I’ve not managed it as a Solarian.
Because humans suck.
First was War Hero, second was Supreme Leader where you win via bloodsports you start participating in during college.
Hesitantly Follow > Join Reticulan > Burst into tears > social event* > Breezok is right > social event 2* > Krag and Flok are right > social event 3* > Let them pour sand.
*One Social event MUST be paired with Krag/Flok, one must be with Rachel/Alex, and finally during the shooting game you have to tell your partner to target Mr. Nelson. 55% Breezok, 40/50% Krag, 40/50% Flok (for the pairs only one has to be at 50% and they will drag the other along), Alex 45/50%, Rachel 45/50%. +5% on whoever gets paired with you during the final event. Other variations on this will work but it ultimately comes down to who you get paired up with as a partner which you don’t know beforehand so it’s largely RNG. Other choices can be left up to the player as long as you don’t do something dumb like throw the blocks at Breezok’s head.
I just tried this twice exactly as you’ve written it, and both times Krag/Flok were both below 50.
Edit: I was able to make it work but I had to do two games with Flok (and win both) and one with Rachel.
Is saving Kyle mutually exclusive to getting the laser turrets?
You can save Kyle and then get Malko’s goons to convince the kid to go to college if you’re already working for Malko.
Ah, I’ll keep this in mind next playthrough.
Yes, it seems I made a slight mistake in my calculations. Maybe ‘burst into tears’ when it prompts you to introduce yourself. You take a -5% to the Solarians but I think Alex or Rachel will still be at 50%, while it gives you +5% to the Orroks. Lemme test it real fast.
EDIT: It works, thanks for the heads up!
Yeah that would fix it. I was aiming my practice balls at Krag and Flok for +3 and I was 2 points shy in the end.
Okay I’m only missing 4 achievements. If anyone can give me any hints for these it would be greatly appreciated:
Jeckel
Inside Job (at what point do I need to turn on the Purists?)
Armageddon Ending (this seems like it should be similar to the Xenocide ending but I can’t figure it out…)
Give Peace a Chance Ending (I just always have at least one faction too low…)
