Do you know what your relationship stats were with the senior trainees? As I said, I always get it so long as my relationship with Clint isn’t higher. But I can’t guarantee that’s what triggers it.
You can raise Adam’s relationship stat pretty easily by sleeping with him in the showers, passing the check before the Battle Royale where they’re discussing strategy and you’re in the pantry (I’m terrible at figuring out stat checks, but I think it’s Cocky/Shy. It’s obvious you passed if they ask you to join them / or failed if you piss them off and get a massive relationship drop), and asking Adam for advice before the Battle Royale will give you a slight boost with him. The only boost I’m remembering with Hide is if you fool around with him before the pool party, but I’m sure there’s more. Other than that, avoid boosting Clint’s relationship. I’ve never needed to sabotage it, but just ignoring him and not propositioning him is safe. Do whatever you want with the Jersey Boys; my relationship with them has never affected getting the scene.
Try that maybe and see if it works? I’m going to play some more tonight, but maybe someone else on here knows more than I do!
I can’t be sure this is correct, but I believe the only way to unlock the scene with Adam at the end is to have a higher relationship with Adam than Clint or Scotty. If one of those is higher, you can’t unlock the scene. Then you have to have a “horny” stat higher than 60. You also must say that you are either a Power top, Service top, or versatile during Chapter 2. Then in the end game you should unlock the scene. I’m not entirely sure how you unlock the scene with Reeves. Didn’t know it was possible. Hopefully this helps.
Thanks for the insight! Everything you said makes perfect sense. I didn’t even consider the horny stat because I always end up being the horniest guy in the place anyway.
Two questions for you, though. Is there a special scene with Scotty if his relationship is the highest? Also, I am very confused knowing you didn’t get the option to top Reeves? That scene always makes me choose between Hide, Adam, and Reeves—and I just assumed it was a package deal sort of thing because those three almost seem to be in a triad with each other. Were you able to choose Hide?
TBH I don’t remember the specifics. I wasn’t really interested in Hide or Reeves. I either overlooked the option, or perhaps you need a certain amount of relationship stat with them as well.
As for Scotty, AFAIK, you can’t get a special scene with either him or Eb. They pretty much tell you that they are monogamous. I’m not sure if you need certain stats to unlock it. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
A little weird thing that happened during battle royale (could it be a bug?):
Last time I played, the MC paired with Rory, and I was able to sort of keep an eye on him and more or less keep track of what was going on with the other contestants. And in the end, it was only him and the MC left.
This time, the MC went with Stan, same stats, same tactics, and everything was pretty much a repetition of the same scenarios, just for different people, which is fine, but then it came to a point where only Rory, Bravon, Stan and MC were left, and on the next page I got a description of the MC tangling with Bravon. (I assumed Stan went for Rory and thought it will be mentioned once I’m done here). But then I pick a move, Bravon goes over the ropes, and suddenly MC is the winner. I was like: wait, what? What happened to Stan? And Rory? It’s like a whole segment got lost.
I told every single person that Marky and Vinny were going after Clint, including Clint himself. I told Bravon and Rory that Adam, Hide, and Reeves were trying to get Scotty and Eb out. I let Clint handle them and then went after Scotty and Eb with Adam, Hide, Reeves, Bravon, and Rory. Scotty and Eb will get eliminated, and Clint will take out two of the rookies. Rory will take out Clint at the same time by pulling the rope down. After that, I just sat back and let Bravon do all the work while I focused on Stan (he’s weak to sexual attacks, so just pull his trunks down every time and you’ll eventually wear him out). I didn’t win against Bravon, but I suspect if you select the options that say you want to win, you’ll be able to take him out.
I will check on that and thank you for reporting it. That whole scene was one of the most difficult scenes for me to code in the 8+ years I have been writing choice games. Sorry it happened.
For those of you who tried the Show Stats option, did you like how it was displayed? I know in the beginning there are a few bugs with it, but overall did you like how it was implemented? I may try to do it for my other games going forward.
Personally, all the info about my attack style, clothing, etc. would be better saved for a different screen. I play on iPad and I didn’t like that I had to keep scrolling every time it updated.
I did, yeah! The only thing that irked me was that I check relationship stats a lot, so it was sometimes frustrating to have to go to a new screen to view them. Although considering the size of the cast, I do see the value in giving them their own page to reduce clutter.
IMO I hated it when I tried my first run (so I restarted without it); but after I beat the game once, I prefer to have it on for all the future runs because I appreciate the information in trying to figure out how to unlock all the scenes.
So for future games I would recommend it being optional like it was in this one.
edit: I apologize, I think I misunderstood your question. I thought you were talking about the option you are given at the beginning of the game about whether you want to see the stats show up in game or in the show stats screen. But after reading the other responses, it sounds like you were talking about something else. Personally I didn’t really see any difference in how you handled the stats menu versus other games, so I’ll defer to the others.
You know, I didn’t even consider the possibility we were talking about showing the stats actually in game. Whoops! If that’s the case, I really liked the option (I choose it every time) and think it was implemented well. I didn’t find it distracting, but I also agree that people would prefer it to remain an optional feature if implemented in future games.
As a pro wrestling fan and lover of romance and erotica, I LOVED this game so dang much - it’s seriously one of my favorite Choice games to date. I’m especially appreciative of the choices we have for how D/S we are and how, once established, that’s then woven into the story. It really spices things up and make it feel a lot more natural and personal.
I’m also very excited to hear there’s a sequel in the works. I’m hoping to see some full on sexy action with Dyer, Enos and the Vinny/Marky duo (hopefully?), as well as maybe a chance for some additional serious relationships (besides the 5 in this) that we can pursue. Even though I know it probably won’t be an option, it would be cool if you could potentially romance Dyer or Enos - they really appeal to me.
I’m also looking forward to pursuing more of our MC’s career as a senior trainee or their foray into the big league, and lots of sexy action in and out of the ring. Definitely a story I love for more then just the explicit content, but it makes it SO good.
Thanks again for such a great game, and here’s hoping we see more 3-chilli rated games on Heart’s Choice!
I’ve encountered a coding error, our lovely Rory has to run away from the MC when he told him he could have Clint all for himself: my MC went for Bravon before the nude party, but after talking with him my MC still got chance to choose between Mandrew, Stan and…I forget his name, I have to choose one of them so my MC had to tell Rory he had other plan again.
I loved this story, it’s weird that I usually don’t read these kind of stories but I couldn’t put it down. I found love with Mandrew .it took forever to get him, and the chase was worth it. i had a solid relationship with Rory as well
